The young girl was obviously very flustered now. She stood up and took off, coming back only to pay the bill. Then she left again, this time turning around to say, "Come... I need you to be... no come with me, and come... no go to the Academy... now with me." Aki laughed a bit, knowing that he had gotten to her. She could barely keep her composure, let alone her bearings. He casually followed her outside, briefly thanking the owner and winking at him on the way out. As they walked, Hikari said very little, obviously still a bit flushed form the restaurant. Her pace was brisk, and when they got to the gates. The guards didn't question the young girl at all, which Aki thought a tad odd. Hikari turned and told them that he was allowed in, as he would be going to the Spiritual Arts Academy. There was a lot of authority in her voice, which caught Aki off guard. Was that the thing he was trying to find out? Was this her secret?
As they walked, Akimoto passed by a few buildings, and saw the shiny plaque that indicated that they had arrived. Hikari showed him where to sit, and then excused herself. The room appeared to be an office of some sort. Aki was the only person in here, and was wondering how long she would be. He didn't like offices very much, and really wished she would come back already. He was unsure of what she was doing, but he was beginning to miss her. He had only known her for a few hours and he was already beginning to become attached to her. She was a cute and funny.
Akimoto couldn't bear to sit any longer and began milling about the room. Finding nothing to look at, he sat on the floor cross legged, and out Masshirona in his lap. He had no idea how long Hikari was going to take, and he hated the boredom. If there were other people in here this would be okay, but as it stood Aki was a bit miffed. Closing his eyes, he started to think about the forest again. If he had known he was going to be going to an Academy, he would have said goodbye to the old man. Aki felt bad now, because the last thing he had said to him was “How do you know her name?†Wow, that's a really heartwarming goodbye.
Thinking aloud, Aki mumbled, "Well at least I am here with this cutie."
