The best part is that they have a whole youtube page full of this stuff! Be sure to watch to the end of each one though, they often have funny bits even after the credits.

This isn't funny at all, but rather super freakin cool.
Most things that emit energy have a "sound" to them, from lightbulbs to fires, including the sun. But sound requires a medium in order for the sound waves to propagate very far at all. IF there were a medium between the Sun and the Earth, even at the distance of more than 90 million miles, it would still be about 100 db.
To give you an idea how loud that is, that's about the same decibel level as a snowmobile or motorcycle.
OSHA advises that you spend no more than 2 hours a day listening to something about 100 decibels if you want to avoid hearing loss.
