Welcome to BG Radio!
Earlier this year, some time in mid-March if memory serves, Tova, Mitsutaka and I had an idea to create a BG podcast of some description, where the goal was to sit down and talk about current site events, highlight threads and players, and maybe have the odd guest on for an interview.
In time, the idea gradually evolved into a show split into three main segments: BG in Review, and a two-part interview with a prominent member. The goal was to—in a very unofficial manner—select someone we thought was worth having on for a conversation and chat about not only their presence and accomplishments on the site, but also to find out a little about the player themselves.
On the 22nd of April, I managed to secure our first guest, Kiriko Chinda, and we'll be working towards getting that underway as soon as possible.
In order to get some practice, however, I decided a test run would be a good idea, and so Tova and I sat down and recorded an episode together, which we've dubbed Episode 0 because this is a Bleach site, after all. The result is fairly shoddy—my microphone, for example, needed replacing—but with some tweaking I managed to put together something that at the very least won't make your ears bleed profusely.
Episode 0: Tova Diabló, 1:45:55 mp3, approximately 95 mb
Since then, I've replaced my microphone (Tova's since learned how to plug his in all the way) and skilled the fuck up a tiny bit as far as editing is concerned, and so—with Brianna's incredible drawing of Truth and Knowledge borne aloft as a banner—we're pleased to present BG Radio.
Season 1
Episode 1: Kiriko Chinda, 1:29:06 mp3, approximately 75 mb
Episode 2: Weylin von Wolfenstein, 1:55:25 mp3, approximately 95 mb (Part 1) / 1:21:37 mp3, approximately 65 mb (Part 2)
Episode 3: Tokiyo Fujikagi, 1:55:37 mp3, approximately 100 mb
Episode 4: Kyousuke Tsukimiya, 2:13:14 mp3, approximately 105 mb
Episode 5: Miyuki Wakahisa coming soon, probably (hopefully)
Feedback in the form of observations and suggestions is greatly encouraged and appreciated, and if you have any questions you'd like to see added to the repertoire in the future, feel free to share them and we'll see about working them in.
