A significantly better idea than spamming random people with random links.
Plus, I have a lot of music taste.
Currently it's an Artic Monkey's kinda night. Quiet, and... er... thoughtful.
Currently playing:
When the zeros line up on the 24 hour clock When you know who's calling even though the number is blocked When you walked around your house wearing my sky blue Lacoste And your knee socks
Honestly, I love all of AM. It's by far my favorite album by them.
Otherwise:

We're singing I believe that lovers should be chained together and thrown into a fire with their songs and letters, and left there to burn. Left there to burn in their arrogance.
About a year and a half ago, around Christmas-time, I was absolutely enamored with this song because it was in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode (which ended up being my favorite episode, as I was marathoning the show with my roommate at that time.) I had about a week of it on youtube repeat straight, and catalogued by the end there was about ~700 replays.
It has a very "waltzing alone in the living room at 4 am on Christmas morning" kind of vibe for me. Definitely one of my favorite songs.

I had a similar experience with Ray Charles. I heard one of his songs in the anime adaptation of Metropolis (one of my favorite movies if you're reading this you should totally go watch it like right now) and the strange way in which it was used back in, what, 2009, when I first saw the movie? Has lead me to buy a lot of Ray Charles songs all the way up until 2016.
In fact, here is the very scene that got me hooked, be warned that it is basically the end of the entire movie and please, please, please think about watching the film first, it's a fantastic and gorgeous thing: Oh god, it still makes me cry. Q.Q
...The Iron Giant isn't little known here in the US. That shit gets played on 24 hour fucking marathons at least once a year and I have learned to just keep headphones in my ears as a result. (My sister would binge watch as many times as she could during said 24 hour marathon. She did this with fucking Thumbellina and about fifty other movies that I can't stand to watch anymore.)
The Iron Giant was my favorite movie when I was a wee little one. Had it on VHS. Not even sure how many times I watched it. Got even worse when my little step-brother was brought into the picture; that was a looooot of afternoons.

But how can you try to ignore The Iron Giant? He just wants to be like his hero Superman, give him a chance. Q.Q
Thumbellina can go die in a fire though, I watched that movie as a kid and even then I was like "JUST TELL HER WHERE TO GO YOU DICK, STOP SINGING ABOUT IT YOU ASSHOLE BIRD AND TELL HER!"
EDIT: Cheshire, they're trying to get a new Iron Giant blu-ray out on the market and I want it so baaaad.
I only love you when it's half past five. The only time I'd ever call you mine.
Actually I change my mind it's this now:

Every few months this song comes up again; just had it in a dream, actually. Yaaawn~.
