Also stop having shitty IC couple relationships because those never work and provide pointless fluff unless your character is a sex fiend | obsessed with love. You're play a shounen not a shitty teen RP. Also time patience and perseverance and a patient rising up.
Wow so rude. I enjoyed having IC couple relationship. Are you saying I'm full of pointless fluff and calling Aisha a sex fiend | obsessed with love? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING TITUS

What is the favorite thing you have about your chosen race or character ?
Having a wannabe badass blood bender (having the possibility to interact with all the races, without any "rules", "laws" or what-nots telling me how to interact with them).
Th, there's nothing wrong with romance plots. ; ^ ;
We're singing I believe that lovers should be chained together and thrown into a fire with their songs and letters, and left there to burn. Left there to burn in their arrogance.
Gosh there's a lot and I'm glad it says favorite. Probably working AX. The entirety of Logistics at the con was from our anime club. So much fun in that department...
Establish a conflict with a goal coinciding with the most stable race on the site that can go forward even if every other Quincy and Mortal on the site quits.

edit: I could go into it more but I'd have to write up a "How to Quincy"
What is a job you've had that you think is worth talking about?
Veterinary Assistant and Suicide Prevention. These were an internship and a volunteer position, for the record. Some sensitive subject matter below the spoiler, so I figured I'd best be safe.
My middle/high school had a program to try and get you on a career path from about 8th grade forward. They were really aggressive about it and college for, well, obvious reasons. So we had to write down a few ideas we had career wise that we were interested in, they'd use some external contacts to try and get something set up that we'd go to that place about 3-4 times a week after lunch. I was in 8th grade at that point, just 'woke up' and was pretty much the last person who needed to be trying to figure out a career on top of everything else, and had selected a veterinary assistant as a possible choice. (The other options I'd listed were essentially laughed out of the park/were 'strongly' discouraged at the time/they couldn't get in touch with someone to help with that.)
I had a veterinary clinic about 10-ish minutes lazy walking from my house they got in touch with and thus the fun got to begin. I cleaned and disinfected kennels, checked on patients there, got to walk a few dogs and shadow a couple appointments. Saw a couple spays/neuters and the prep work that goes into that. Got to learn how to make a kitty burrito to trim claws/give medication. (Giving a cat their medicine is a loving bitch and can result in aspiration of liquid medicine or worse; foreign object in their lung if you're not careful.) I didn't do too badly at this, circumstances involved, until about a month and a half in when we had a 4-5 month old kitten who'd been hit by a car rushed into our ER and didn't make it. I'd, unfortunately, finished my tasks and got to see fight to save the kitten and the sad end result. (The internal injuries were too severe and they did try even though they had an idea that the survival rate was effectively zilch.) I pretty well lost my shit twice over it and wound up quitting after getting into it with my mom and my advisor at school at the time.
The vet tech I usually shadowed understood completely and actually told me that I'd make an excellent 'pet parent' and, if I kept up my love for animals and their well-being, someone who could be excellent as a foster home for animals waiting for adoption in the future. It's a hard job and one that's immensely rewarding though if you can withstand seeing an animal suffer.

Suicide Prevention.
I still do this and have a couple private groups I'm part of with members who call/text/IM when in crisis. As per my rant in the vent thread the other day, this does not always end in success and we hurt when we lose one of 'our own'. This is an incredibly stressful 'job', for the record, and it's not something I recommend doing unless you can strike a balance between listening, taking action, and knowing when a situation is going to need more than just you at the time. But it's beyond worth it when someone calls in crisis (you don't want to know how young some of these people are.) and you're able to walk them through and help them get the strength to give it "just one more day". and see how that goes-- even if you know as almost a certainty that they're going to be calling you that next day or even 10-12 hours from that point. Early mornings and early evenings are the times we get the most "help me" calls.
Walking into Lines for Life or any center for prevention where you have all volunteers who offer their time to sit and wait for someone who needs help will put a fucking chill down your spine and raise the hair on the back of your neck. 24/7. Holidays included. You have fresh faced high school graduates and elderly men and women who look as if they need to be in the hospital in those chairs waiting for that flash signalling an incoming call. Some places pay you for your time. Others don't. (I do not; but walking someone through the storm and hearing them agree to give it "one more day" is beyond payment for me.) Every last one of those people are there because they're a survivor of their own attempts or lost/knew someone who has died from suicide-- and they want to be that 'rock' someone can cling to long enough to weather through the storm. No one waited any longer than 5 minutes the day I met with one of the prevention and awareness specialists to discuss their work and goal.
I have a lot to say on the subject; it's very near to my heart as a survivor of my own past attempts and as someone who has lost people to suicide, and as someone who has watched others both struggle to live that "one more day" and have been blessed with the opportunity to see them continue the fight. Once again plugging a list of resources for those who may need them:
