This doctor was....strange, to say the least. She wasn't exactly sure what it was about him, but what Angeni was certain of was that his entire existence in and of itself felt disjointed, as if he were not actually a part of anything, but merely superimposed haphazardly; she had encountered strange before, but this doctor was the one person so far that she considered anomalous. From his mannerisms to his method of speech, the latter of which threatened to keep a scowl of annoyance permanently embedded in Angeni's features, she just couldn't figure him out. There was no doubt that she could sense his spirit, but it's composition was hazy. Was he even really human?
Why do I get the urge to bash his face into mulch with a rock?
That thought was at the forefront of her mind, whether it was a byproduct of the foreign rage granted by Freyleif's power or a genuine thought of Angeni herself was yet to be determined. If she had to harbor a guess, the aggressive notion could be attributed to both in equal parts. She remained unmoving, her ruby-filmed gaze flitting hither and to as she visually and spiritually followed Isaac's erratic movements and frantic speech.
"Forgive my aggression in turn, but you make me want to hit you. I don't think I like you very much, and that's saying quite a bit since I rarely, if ever, dislike people." A surprisingly blunt and hostile remark, uncharacteristic of the normally hospitable and kindhearted mystic. There was a short pause, as if to gather her thoughts, yet in fact it was due to a brief shift of her gaze towards Albrecht as he began moving. She hadn't forgotten about him, nor had she turned her focus away from him. Inherent curiosity directed her mind's eye towards him, sensing the invocation of spiritual abilities within him.
She could feel it happening.
A faint smirk curled at the corner of her lips, minutely revealing the ivory within. He had began to influence the reishi around them, bending it to his sovereignty. But for what? Angeni made a subtle movement of her hand, a light twitch that likely would go unnoticed. At once she noticed the sluggish drag that the movement had suffered. Her grin widened and now she actually turned her head to gaze over her shoulder just as he suddenly appeared behind her. As he reached forward to ensnare her, Angeni stepped forward and turned with graceful fluidity. Just barely out of his reach, Angeni was given very little time to react physically to the followup leg sweep. The ethereal wings upon her back gave a quick flap in conjunction with the deft leap she took to avoid the sweep. Her mouth slowly yawned into a faint split, wisps of rosy mist trailing from within.
A moment later her mouth fully dropped open with a bellowing exhale, a gusty manifestation of Freyleif's rage ability expelled and directed at Albrecht. While the breathy zephyr itself would do no damage, there was an ulterior motive to it; the purpose was to stimulate the aggression within the wolfen Quincy. It would work at influencing it to send him into a furious rage via maddening whispers within his thoughts, thereby ideally clouding his judgment and making him little more than a mindless beast; it was clear that Angeni had taken a liberty or two with the power she had taken from the young Quincy.
Whether it would be successful or not would be seen in time. For now...
A single hand rose, only the index finger remaining upraised and swaying from left to right in a dissuasive warning gesture to the male Quincy before she turned to look at Isaac once more. So he wanted to test his new-found abilities as well? For the moment she had chosen to dismiss the rather abrasive "therapy session" the doctor had attempted to subject her to, hovering just barely a foot above the ground. He was pompous and arrogant; neither were traits that Angeni held in high esteem. She landed with a dull thud, a mild tremor rumbling through the ground on impact. The arrangement not to use her own abilities had been made with Albrecht, the doctor was not included in that particular agreement. Furthermore, he informed her that how she fought him didn't matter to him.
"If you insist." She responded shortly, a quick outward wave of her hand dissipating the dampening effect that Albrecht had created. This wouldn't be the first time that she had been subjected to uneven odds in a fight, though of course the circumstances in this case were much different. Not only would she have to manage using Freyleif's power to combat Albrecht, but she was wholly unfamiliar with Isaac and his abilities. From the short display, she ventured a guess that his power had something to do with perhaps teleportation. Maybe spatial manipulation or temporal distortion? She supposed she would find out soon enough.
"Give me a short moment to prepare, this'll be the first time I've done something like this, so forgive me if it's a bit....shoddy." Angeni placed both hands over the center of her chest, her lilac spiritual aura flaring to overtake the dusty rose shade of Freyleif's power. As she brought her hands away from her chest, Angeni's form blurred and distorted. The auras then separated, Freyleif's aura moving forward along with her Angeni's body while her spiritual body stepped back accompanied by her personal aura. Now separated, both "Angenis" looked at one another, seeming to inspect each other. The movements seemed to be independent of one another, yet there was still a synchronous control to them as well. Physical Angeni turned to face Albrecht while Spectral Angeni faced Isaac.
"Well, looks like it worked well enough, I think. See, what I did was to separate my real body from my soul. The physical body's using Freyleif's power, while this spirit body is using my own powers. But, here's where it gets fun; I'm actually controlling both. I won't waste anymore time with specifics, so what do you say we get started, hm?" Her voice held an eerie echo, yet it was the spiritual Angeni that had actually spoken. All the while, the physical Angeni idly inspected herself, occasionally stretching or testing her movements subtly. Both, however, were well aware of everything happening around them. She glanced briefly towards the bubble, finding Freyleif standing outside of it and watching the proceedings begrudgingly. The girl was not yet completely healed, but for now she was well enough that her life wasn't threatened anymore.
"You can attack whenever you're ready." This time it was the physical Angeni that spoke out to Albrecht, yet the spiritual body also gave a gesture for Isaac to attack as well.
