Yo, where my Pokenerds at, fam? Considering a particular Youtuber I like started a taglocke today, I was wondering if a group of people would be interested in doing one as well!
If you aren't aware what a taglocke is, here are the rules:
1.) Standard Nuzlocke Rules (If you don't know these, probably best you don't get involved in something as in depth as this) 2.) The game will be randomized (I will do the randomization, so don't worry about the technicals of this) 3.) Traditionally, there should be eight people and each person plays up to a single gym badge (Player one gets the first gym badge, player two to the second, etc) and then passes off the game save to someone else. ---> Depending on the number of people interested (if any), the number of swaps will be edited accordingly.

I'll do it, never nuzlocked but it's fun times. I'm a bit iffy on the randomizer due to the inherent...iffyness but hell weedle with fireblast why not. You should clearly define the nuzlocke rules for the loosely initiated and unaware
Actually, Randomizer doesn't necessarily imply that sort of craziness. What would go down is all encounters are essentially shuffled -- So you could find a Dragonite on route one, or a pidgey in victory road, for example -- and all trainer Pokemon are shuffled as well. Level up moves, types, abilities, and all that jazz won't be randomized, for sanity's sake.
As for Nuzlocke, these are the rules:
1.) You can only catch the first Pokemon you encounter in an area 1.a.) Dupe/Species clause: You can choose to reroll your encounter if you have already caught the pokemon, or one it's evolutions, you find. 2.) If a Pokemon faints, it's considered dead and must be boxed permanently. 3.) You must nickname all Pokemon
The box thing is so other players can see what sort of Pokemon you had at one point. Since, when you pass of the save you're not supposed to tell the person about what you've done, having that bit of knowledge is usually pretty fun.
"wtf how the hell could Jian have lost a mother fucking RAYQUAZA on the third gym?!!?!? he's such a n00b"
As long as you want, but ideally you shouldn't take more than a week, just to keep things going. Depending on the game we pick out, each session should really only be an hour and some change (average). So it's not like you're being asked to finish an entire game in a week.
Considering how... aggressively I play Pokémon, I suggest putting me in one of the later spots (like, past the 5th Gym)- me and early gam Nuzlocke's have a history of party wipes. Bad, stupid party wipes that didn't have to happen.
