Nanami, Mei Rowan, and 1 more like this

So do you want the giant, full version? Or the short one because this has been up forever and you've waited long enough? Too bad! I am deciding for you despite just asking you!
I was very critical of your first attempt and I know "I was right" to do so. Without belaboring the past, Nanami is absolutely required to continue walking that razor's edge if she is to truly evolve into the next level. To discard one facet of herself for anything less than the utter culmination of her journey would be not only disingenuous but also profoundly disappointing. Thankfully, you've re-engineered your approach in the context of what had already existed to arrive at something more worthy of what you've already done.
It's rare that I would ever suggest someone "retcon" a post and try again, and it's even rarer that I would tell someone to just submit the same material and try again, but given that Nanami literally had not moved another step since you first asked for this, doing this how you have chosen to do it is probably okay, if only "technically".
On to the material: I don't especially find or see much profound change in 'Left or Right' or at the least, nothing that stirs me in any particular direction. As before, this threads feels more like a justification for the rest of it than any actual vessel of development in and of itself. Of course, my opinion here could be tainted by things I know as a player.
On the other hands, the revisions to 'Turning a New Leaf' are both extremely poignant and much needed. Had you submitted this thread in this manner the first time, I would have passed this request. So, with that in mind, Imma fix that now.
Congratulations, Nanami. You are Approved for Vaizard.
Nanami is an excellent classification of monstrous nature embodied deeply within the "murder-bot" hidden facet of Shinigami. It's right, then, that a Mask and Bankai both focused so entirely on controlling the severity of wounds would reflect this woman's soul. As you said yourself; she must fight every day to be worthy of the peace she seeks. Blood on your hands is fine, so long as the result is worthy. The strength to do what is necessary, merged with the will to not have to. Duality, quite literally, has finally found its home inside of her.
