Who is Dry-Gulch?
Once upon a time there was a rising star in the American boxing scene. However, he was arrogant, overreached, and eventually challenged someone way out of his league. Sloppiness, head trauma, and a badly-placed punch combined into a deadly accident.
Driven by his arrogance, the soul lingered in the world, feeling the word owed him something. The soul was unable to interact with the world despite its deep desires, and eventually hollowed out.
This Hollow now lingers in the human world, under the name Dry-Gulch. Despite his natural arrogance, Dry-Gulch became a more careful hunter in death than he ever was in life. Even now, the Hollow's power grows. He's capable of speech, and now hungers for the souls of mediums and other spiritually-aware people, but other than that he's little more than the animal his brethren are. Arrogance still drives him, a deep-seated drive to become the apex predator of the spiritual world.

Goals
- Dry-Gulch seeks to grow ever-stronger. Right now, the souls of regular mortals have lost their taste to him, and he mostly seeks the souls of mediums and other spiritually-aware people.
- That's kind of it. Dry-Gulch's final goal is to become a Vasto Lorde, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
- Arrancar: Strange. They smell like Hollows, but look like humans. Beasts masquerading as men. Not my type.
- Other Hollows: Pack-mates at best. Rival hunters at worst. The strongest will survive. No mercy for the weak.
- Shinigami: Puny men in black. Their swords hurt us, but shall not stop my ascent. I will devour even them if I must.
- Quincy: Dangerous. They smell different. The lives they take fade instead of moving on. Be careful around them.
- Spiritually-aware Mortals: Delicious morsels. None too scary.
- Mortals: Once they sated my hunger, but now I need more. No longer are they of interest to me.
What am I looking for?
An interesting question. I mostly want Dry-Gulch to grow stronger. However, if any newbie characters would, for whatever reason, find themselves around the New York area it could be interesting to have them butt heads with Dry-Gulch. I don't intend to kill anyone in such a fight, of course.
A stronger character like an Arrancar or an Adjuchas might take an interest in Dry-Gulch. He's a promising hunter despite his flaws. Currently, Levi and Cazador have both shown interest, but nothing is solid quite yet. Don't expect Dry-Gulch to accept the first offer he gets, too. He needs some working-over.
Really, anything as long as it doesn't end with Dry-Gulch dying is good. Invite him for a fancy dinner at Las Noches and watch him pig out on whatever soul you serve him. Capture him for research in the Seireitei and experiment on him, before slipping up and letting him escape via Garganta. Crawl on his back and try to hitch a piggyback ride. As long as I can do things!
What can I offer?
First of all, despite being a Hollow, Dry-Gulch will not be aggressive towards everyone. Those of similar strength to him will inspire at least some level of caution, and he avoids those who are overwhelmingly powerful. Perhaps more importantly, Dry-Gulch is willing to talk if it means he doesn't get killed. As opposed to most other characters, Dry-Gulch cares little about the cycle despite being well-aware of it. As such, he can offer a new perspective to characters seeking their own answers.
For Arrancar or Adjuchas-level Hollows, Dry-Gulch can be a capable subordinate, either permanently or temporarily. Despite being feral and bestial, Dry-Gulch is intelligent, and can perform even complicated tasks.
For others, Dry-Gulch can deliver a good fight, an easy beatdown to make yourself feel better, or a powerful opponent to imprint on your character just how dangerous the world is, depending on your level of power and your desired plot.
Honestly, don't feel like the only reason you could RP with Dry-Gulch is to fight. The only prey he currently has a taste for is human spiritualists. If you don't try to kill him and aren't one of those, it's actually possible to have threads with plenty of different goals and ideas.
