He would shake his head a bit, she was reaching a bit more into it than he had been intending.
"No, more like--" he halted, trying to think of the best way to explain what he was getting at, it took him a few moments before he would continue. "--More like using pure reishi to heal the wounds, like you did before-- but now using your knowledge you've obtained to do it properly. That alone would work for healing others for most wounds. Think of that as its "weakest" state-- and then, using your own blood as a catalyst with the reishi and your own reiryoku to use its "true" state-- more strain, but more power and ability to do more thanks to it." With that, he would then consider the idea of empowering her white blood cells as well in order to fight off potential diseases.
"Hm. That's an idea-- in fact that may be a key aspect, you could use that in order to fight off poisons and sicknesses-- it would be worthwhile working toward that end no matter what, but learning it would make the technique far more effective and without any actual risk to yourself, beyond requiring more concentration, I suppose." As he contemplated this, he would glance down at her as she looked through the books-- and inquired what he thought about the technique as a whole and the ideas. He sat back for a few moments, thinking of it before he would slowly pull out his notepad-- lifting it up and resting it in his lap as he began to work carefully.
"I think that you've already gotten the "stage one" down pat. Most of the time, using just pure reishi to jump start others healing process should be more than enough now that you know the science behind how the healing you work." As he explained this he would write down the words "reishi healing - stage one" into the paper and include a basic description of the technique, and a few notes on the knowledge required in order to accurately learn the skill in question.
"Then, I think the next stage is where the training we've been doing is going to come into play-- using blut and combining it with stage one, in order to create a form of healing blut," he write these down as well, before he continued, "That requires you to control your blood through reishi threads-- using your blut as a medium-- and infusing it into your target to encourage healing and allow you to essentially re-build their lost parts from the inside out. If we go by how my own regeneration works-- you would start by injecting your white blood cells infused with reishi to kill any diseases or poisons inside them-- stabilizing them while at the same time pumping reishi into their cells using your own blut-- starting with the veins and arteries-- building them back up using your reishi as fuel for the healing, and your blut to control it perfectly. From there, you could then begin building up the tissue around the veins-- just like they work in the body itself-- in theory with enough control, you could then cause the reishi to turn to kishi and directly regrow the lost tissue. Though that would require extensive skill-- I'm not sure many but you could do that." Finishing that, he would tap the page a few times as he glanced at the book-- she had been looking at the same thing that had caught his eye.
"Then-- possibly-- a stage three," he would write a question mark next to it-- as it was much more of a theory than the others.
"I saw the blood ritual in the book-- and the idea seems plausible. Creating a bond between two souls using blood and reishi as the medium to trigger it, and allowing a tether of reiryoku to form between two individuals-- it would require much more research-- but I think it could be done theoretically-- though the bond would obviously be weaker the farther away from one another the two-- or more-- are," he eyed the notes and shrugged a bit as he set it down between them for her to look over if she wished.
"For now I think stage two should be the main focus-- which means you're going to need to make sure you get a hand of infusing your white blood cells with reishi instead of your red-- it's likely not that much different, but still, that would certainly be step one. Step two would then require me to take some damage." he grinned a bit, not seeming to mind as he would intertwine his fingers and watch her curiously-- wondering if she would manage it easily enough or not, now that she was finally getting over her mental blockers.
