Her friend. Again he said that word and she continued to resist hearing such as she was in her self-loathing world. She didn’t see the beauty around her; that her friends were there for her and Erek not raising his blade to strike her like she had been, too absorbed in wanting to remove those away from her and accept her hatred. Her vision blurred by nothing but red as she attacked him with all her power she could muster in her anger, anger that did not phase the man before her trying to get her back.
The cries and darkness in her heart were consumed and twisted by her own vision of revenge; that she must exert every fiber of her energy to remove the Shinigami so that voices in her head would cease. The voices were really her own screams in wanting vengeance; even so, she reveled in destroying the weakness in others and herself and not seeing the brighter side and accepting her mother’s death, still unable to get revenge on the Hollow who turned her life to the worse, and Iko for ripping away her arms and showing just how weak she was.
She shielded her eyes with her free arm as Erek’s reiatsu shined out like the sun after her bullets homed on him with a fiery streak of dusty rose. Their energies collided causing cracks through the ground and debris flying everywhere. She waited till the black cloud vanished and saw Erek now in some dark knight armor -- let out a gasp and narrowed her eyes at the transformation before whipping her arm back to her side once the reiatsu died down from her own.
“What, how!?” she said in bewilderment and flabbergasted. Just how did he get a new power so soon when she hadn’t gotten word on his use of using a sanrei or some forbidden training in secret. Her jaw tighten and clenched her weapon tighter until her hand turned paler in complexion, even her legs started feeling like noodles and her body shook. His words grinded her into mind as she tried to fathom just how he became more powerful than her and his weapon more solid than her pitiful mass of particles.
“I-it’s not fair!” she shouted out just as her reiatsu exploded out like a horn. “That was my best attack and you just bat away like it’s nothing.” she let out a snarl; remembering how using her destructive powers had saved her twice from staving off Iko - yet this force was snuffed out by this knight. “Maybe you should just lead the Quincy, they don’t need someone as weak as me.” she lowered her weapon arm that was still pointed at him then slowly released it before it burst into spiritual energy and returning whence it came. The teen fell to her knees and looked up at the sky with tearful emeralds before settling them at Erek too spent to continue her rampage and felt her heartbeat calming as the adrenaline faded. She clutched her head and let out a growl. “No I can’t just give up.” with that, reishi gathered around Erek and formed into hundreds of jagged daggers that all moved at the same time to try and piece into him.
“When the hell did you get such power!?” of course she felt envy -- even jealousy over his new found powers. “It’s not fair!” her reiatsu billowed forth as she suddenly vanished away and sprinted towards Erek with spirit weapon in hand again and going to strike him in his armory gut. If this attack didn't harm him, then she had no idea what would even cause a scratch and doubted she would be able to defeat him with her pure anger.
