At the arrancar releasing his reitasu, Miné also passed out. As protection built in to keep her safe, when she lost consciousness, she stopped holding back her aura. Normally, she held it back in order to allow people to keep some degree of negative emotions in order to have some degree of honest conversation. But now, the arrancar would feel the full brunt of it all, he would not feel any negative emotions at all. No loneliness, no sadness, no sorrow, not even hunger. Indeed, even all the souls he had devoured would feel nothing but peace. The rapid change in emotion probably should have terrified him, but fear was also missing. Any thoughts of revenge that had driven him for centuries would be wiped out while near the unconscious mod soul, and he might even deem it time to free the souls he had enslaved.
((OOC Note: Smuggler and I discussed it in Discord, near as we can tell you reiatsu flared, and from the rules we're both unconscious. As far as I know, the mods deemed that Miné's aura (Journeyman) is opposed by reiatsu perception, which at the start of this thread was 0 for you))
Looked over them both in bit of confusion. His mind was unsure of what happened to them or caused this. Slowly he would wander back into the bathhouse to pick up a bath sponge of sorts. With what limited logic he had he did this twice so that he would have one for both of their heads thinking they must have gotten sick from something. Maybe it was the cold, or the water, he did not know. Slowly the child looked around as he did what seemed like a responsible thing to do. Looking over them both as he dragged them next to one another so they would be safe for the moment. One of his puppets slowly crawling from the brackish water of the bathhouse left in his wake. Though it was a hollow it handed him a stick as he and it started to gently poke the two "sleeping" people over and over again.
Slowly got up from his kneeling post as he looked over them both. Not sure what to do but something inside was telling him a small idea he had was right. Reaching out to hollow next to him physically its body broke apart into mists. The boy looked down at Janus as the mists seemed to swirl in the air. The mists moving before coming down in a rough fashion as they shoved their way down Janus' throat. Pooling its mists within her legs before condensing heavily. The boy pumped out more gas to help it fill half of a lung in this condensed state. Knowing it wouldn't hurt or hinder her breathing in any way or her the boy nodded. "Innocent.... soul... protect..." The boy turning from them as he opened his tiny mouth and spit out a garganta. Walking through it back to his home in the desert dunes for his next end-ever. Sin taking on his form as they stepped through the gateway.

About 6 hours later, when the place reopened, Janus woke up with a splitting headache to her friend She said a few words to him and got back in her car, brain splitting and headed back to Tokei Aruki. She figured she drank herself under the table the night before following some usual gambling, she asked about the boy but no one had seen him. She threw up only once and was glad she didn't get sick.WC-77 TWC-5080

Miné woke up a few moments after Janus had left and a few people had begun trickling in. No one in the bathhouse had much spiritual energy, certainly not enough to awaken to any spiritual powers. She collected a set of clothes, she thought Janus had the extra set of clothes brought previously, but it was equally possible she was just stealing some random woman's clothes before she walked out of the bathhouse. In the light of day, the sprawling metropolis that Karakura Town has become was no less impressive; her senses were still temporarily overwhelmed by the huge amount of souls in the area. She no longer sensed the Diviner's reiatsu, but was fairly confident Janus had not been killed; mortals still left bodies behind, after all.
She began to walk the streets once again, mostly following the crowd of people milling about, pausing often to look at the new things and try to figure out everything that had changed in the last centuries. To any spiritually aware creatures, this soul would feel strange; unlike most (possibly any, depending on if they'd ever encountered a mod soul before) they'd ever felt. To non-spiritually aware creatures, or those with limited ability to perceive reiatsu, they would probably feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over them as the grey haired woman was a few blocks away. Miné was keeping her reiatsu senses open for anything, be it another hollow or spiritualist, or, and she hoped both sides were still around, a shinigami or a quincy.
After several weeks of wandering the city and finding no other spiritual beings other than the Diviner and the Hollow she met the day she awakened, Miné had set to the task of learning what had changed in the mortal world. A few days after her initial encounter, Miné had made her way to an 'internet' cafe, remembering the term from one of Janus's confused statements. She managed to talk her way into free access from the mortal at the counter (though she may have used her aura to make him a bit more sympathetic to her plight), and she spent the next few days and nights discovering what had happened in the world. She was shocked to learn that the capital of the country had moved from Kyoto to Tokyo, a city merely about 100 ri away, no, 50 kilometers away. She would have to adjust to current weights and measures. This was not the most shocking thing she learned in the review of human history; massive landmasses had been discovered in her time away from the world. The moon had been reached by people of one of these previously unheard of lands; they were people among the stars! Well, not truly, as she also looked into science and repeatedly had her notions of physics and the world shattered.
Miné was always flexible and willing to adapt to new information, and while she learned as well that you can not trust everything on the internet (though she also learned that from the internet), her week of research brought her much closer to understanding the modern world. While the broad strokes had come into her understanding, there was obviously much she had to learn, and it seemed that outside a few websites that also teemed with maddening claims (even in her time they knew the earth was not flat, why would anyone think that?), the spiritual world still remained mostly unknown to mortals.
Perhaps there weren't any spiritual beings in Karakura town, and the mass of people threw off her senses. According to some of the historical notes she found online, there were about 6 million souls across all of Japan in her time. Today, there were over 9 million living in the capital alone. She continued researching, and established that she could probably make it to Tokyo for a few hundred yen and about an hour. Truly, the transportation of this time was amazing. A city with such a large population was bound to have clues she could find to contact beings of the spiritual world. She would spend the next few days scraping together some yen, then aim to make it to the capital. Without the need to eat or sleep, Miné would have no issues saving up money from a few quick jobs.
((Thread will be over here, unless someone shows up while she's scraping together cash; assume a restaurant or something, I'll leave it open until Monday))
