It unsettles me, limbs aren't supposed to make angles like that in the water unsupported...
It shouldn't even be possible really unless it has joints
And squid don't have joints as far as I know...really it makes me uncomfortable because it shouldn't be able to look like that and I don't have a diagram of its organ or internal structure to figure out how it does it. I'm a little unsure with whether or not that thing just looks like that in still frames or if it actually walks around like that, either way, spindly spider limbs with angles don't work underwater. This animal has no right to exist.
Why is it on my planet with its non-Euclidean bullshit?
The arms that are bent have a sort of joint, though if I remember correctly it doesn't really bend much. It's used to bring prey into its other tentacles
"A sort of joint" Not an actual joint, but the way it grows its arms makes it stiff at that point. Or I dunno. It was sort of a side conversation in a class with a professor who's voice screams:

That's quite strange for a squid but we don't know too much about it yet. Actually, our knowledge of most organisms that live in the deeper depths of the oceans is very limited...

The ocean is filled with nightmares and is completely irrelevant, no matter what marine biologists tell you...they're mostly jack asses who need to sound like their job matters for grants
Everybody knows the entirety of the ocean is filled with the dreams of the Sleeping Lord and that all adventures into his domain are in violation of our covenant
These 'squid' are merely one of the many exertions of his subconscious will on what our pathetic planet calls 'life'
