Oh god, not ANOTHER one. Siy sat in his domain, soft grass and a warm sun coating his body. They made him drowsy, on the verge of sleep, although you'd think he'd have learned by now. He could be on edge for months at a time, paranoid that someone would discover the entrance to his world and come searching for a fight. Not many of them were real threats, but it was always good to keep your guard up, especially when the dimension always changes whenever someone enters. Either he hadn't mastered control over the plain yet, or it was just a wild card by nature, but it always altered to some weird landscape whenever an alternate source of power came into its area. Perhaps the conflicting reiatsu acted like colors? When Siy was the only one in there, being his red reiatsu, the dimension took on his red color, allowing him to control it. But when someone else, say a blue, entered, their colors mixed, causing the dimension to take on a purple color, out of control of them both.
Oh, but what would this one be like? From the crackling going on in the grass, he could tell it would be interesting. The green ground suddenly dulled into a dark gray, becoming less grassy and more puffy, like a cloud. The sky dulled as well, into a night color, and the clouds above him gathered and lowered. So, this would be a battle in the sky? And a stormy sky nonetheless. Lightning bolted around him as he waited, eyes trained on the entrance, now obscured by fog...
Jasper had his head and his hood up as he entered the "arena". Fog trailed behind his body, leaving a strange and eeiry after-image of Jasper. His cloak trailed behind him as he stepped upon the soft, moist clouds. Strange of Jasper to wear a cloak today- he had forgone his hoodie, but kept a Linkin Park T-Shirt on, with some dark jeans. Jasper stood there for a few moments, still looking downwards. He slowly rose his head, to show a grin. "Wow, this 'noble entrance' shit is really over-rated." Jasper put his right arm backwards, the cloak flying off into the distance. Jasper's katana was now revealed, with it's black hilt, sheathed diagonally on Jasper's back. His red hair flew due to the harsh winds up here- what was it, a storm cloud? Interesting- these Royal people really knew how to host a battle. "Anyways, Siyrennryu, was it? God, thats a mouthful- may I call you Siy?", Jasper said, bored. "So, Siy, I am here to battle you, as you probably already know." Jasper sighed, taking his sword out and stabbing it into the cloud that was the ground. Surprisingly, it stuck, as Jasper leaned backwards on it, like a cane.
"So, shall I take the first move?" Jasper said, taking his sword out of the ground after standing there and thinking for a few moments. He pointed it at Siy, the broad side up, as Jasper put his feet parralel to his shoulders. "Or shall you? Shall the youngest allow the elder to go first out of courtesy, or shall he take his adrenaline and youth and strike first?" Jasper laughed. "Saying shall so much- when was I born, the 1600s?" Jasper's face then became serious. "So? What shall it be, Sir Royal?" Jasper waited for an answer as another violent gust of wind blew past his face, making his hair fly backwards. Either way- Jasper was ready to fight this guy. -- GP: 324/50= 6 GP Total GP: 6 Stamina: 29/29
"Heh, I like your spunk." Siy said, chuckling slightly. Not many people had the balls to come in and point a sword at a Royal, let alone keep their knees still while they did so. This would be a fun fight. "Ya know, it gets pretty boring with people just coming in here and fighting. We got this snazzy environment, so why not use it?" He asked, holding his hand out a good ays and examining it. Lightning crackled around it and a bolt shot from the ground, creating a pseudo-spear in his hands. Hmm... This might be fun. He grinned as he tossed it past the human boy, purposefully missing, the bolt striking the ground a good ways away. The ensuing blast, however, packed a hell of a punch. It created a massive, electric-based explosion, expanding in a giant dome, before collapsing in on itself. Siy's Cero Nova was brought to mind, and he wondered what it would be like inside one of those lightning domes.
"Take up your weapon, human, because I can almost guarantee I won't miss this time." He said, a large grin spreading across his face. Siy held his hand out again, lightning striking his palm in a similar manner as last time, supercharging the apendex and manifesting a spear. Gripping it, Siy took aim, waiting to see what the human would do.
Jasper smiled as the lightning bolt sped pass, causing an explosion behind him. He was unmoved, and actually chuckled to himself a little bit. He was unmoved. "Alright, my turn." Jasper said, smiling. He took his sword, and stabbed it into the cloud, as well as his hand. He kept it in there, as lightning sparked out from his arms. Jasper's smile became maniacal, glown under the light of the electricity. He tore his arms out, as residual lightning followed. His left hand held a ball of lightning in it, his sword practically made out of it now. He looked at Sit's lightning in his hand. "Try to hit me now." Jasper whispered to himself.
Jasper ran towards Siy. Right before he got within 10 feet in front of him, he made a sharp right to Siy's flank and threw the ball of lightning in his hand at him right next to his feet- not enough to hurt him, but enough to blind him for a few moments. Jasper then ran to the left, the ball of lightning that was in his hand dissapeared. He then smiled as he brang his sword behind his left arm, and then slashed out an arc of pure, yellow lightning at him. THAT one should hit- hopefully.
Jasper then drew out a long lightning bolt out of the ground, and spun it around his fingers a few times. "Y'know," Jasper said, "I could get used to using all this lightning" Jasper said as the lightning cleared away. He waited to see what had happened to the Royal- had he been hit? Possibly, but he was much more powerful than him. Either way, Jasper's sword was still sparking, and he was ready to throw another hit. He would have fun fighting this Royal- even though he would probably get fucked up in the process. Jasper flinched at that thought- he could get killed by this guy. Though, he didn't seem like the kind of guy to do that. Did he? God, he was over-thinking getting hurt too much- instead of thinking about getting hit, he should be thinking about tactics. Yes, tatics. If anything, tactics would give him the upper hand here.
Jasper snapped back to reality. He had forgotten about the lightning spear in his hand, now sparking. Jasper smiled, as he sheathed his sword and gripped it with both hands, taking a steady stance, waiting for Siy to get over the lightning strike- if it had even hit him. Jasper prepared his next attack, if all went as planned. -- Stamina: [28/29] GP: 9 Total GP: 14
The Royal stood there, unmoved, as the Human boy lept around like some hyperactive monkey. So he had supercharged himself with lightning? Big whoop. Regardless of who could control it or where it had come from, this lightning held the same properties as everything else spiritual: the more reiatsu you had, the stronger and more devastating your attacks were. Clutching his spear, Siy readied himself to throw it, searching for the opportune moment. A ball of lightning to his feet, a slash towards his right flank. Heh, no problem. It took little effort on his part to jump into the air, chucking the spear straight down as he did so. The weapon intercepted both attacks, creating yet another explosion dome, propelling Siy upwards with the force of the blast.
"Heh, this could be fun." He said, suddenly appearing behind Jasper. "I see you've already discovered that the attack can come in many forms, but why don't we see what it looks like when you combine it with your own energy?" The Royal disappeared, returning to view a few yards away. His right hand was pointed to the Human, energy gathering at the tip. As reishi gathered, however, some of the lightning was pulled in as well. The red orb was supercharged, turning an orange color, dispelling small bolts by merely existing. "Lightning Cero Cannon." He said, unleashing the horribly powerful blast rocketing towards Jasper...
"How about no?" Jasper said, smiling, as a black, violent torrent of wind-like reiatsu caught the Cero and pulled the power away from Siy, was fired off of his hand. This was the ability Jasper had adapted which he had dubbed "Reiatsu Reflect" that could grasp moves like the cero he had just fired. "Dude, you really, really should have thought that move out before hand" Jasper said, smiling. His palm still was releasing the windy reiatsu. Jasper then pulled his hand backwards, as the cero went back to Siy, the blast now at Jasper's command. He could feel the reiatsu of the cero touch him through the orange blast, now aimed at the Royal. The cero eventually died down, and at that moment, Jasper pulled back the Reiatsu Reflect, and jumped backwards and did a long roll back onto his feet.
Jasper took grip of his katana again and put it out in front of him. Damn, he was tired- and pretty sure that the sheer power of the cero had hurt him A LOT. He rose it upwards to his head, summoning a shield of thunder from the ground around him, like a bird cage. Of course there would be a counter attack- Jasper was counting on it. Jasper then just stood there, smiling. "C'mon, don't be a pussy! Get put here already!" Jasper yelled. -- Stamina:15/29 Reiatsu: 16/20 GP: 4 Total GP: 18 GP
"What a prideless ability." The Royal said, catching his own cero and crushing it in his hand. Did that little Human really think he could take Siy's own attack and use it against him? The second a cero leaves its caster's hand, it beging to expell its power. While the power didn't have anywhere to go while in the Human's vortex, it simply expelled power in no particular direction or form. By the time it came back to Siy, it was a meager shadow of its former power. Even if it wasn't his own attack, the Ex-Espada could have eaten the thing, it was so weak. "At least have the pride to come fight me with your own power. How cowardly must you be to utilize someone else's own ability from a distance?" The Arrancar's hand went to his sword, but he ultimately decided against it. This Human didn't deserve to see his power, not with the abilities he had displayed thus far.
Rearing his hand back, lighting shot to his palm. The sheer amount and force it was gathering with began to draw Siy backwards, forcing him to draw his body forward to counteract it. His entire right had was being energized, creating a pseudo-claw of lightning. With a roar, Siy slashed his hand, sending a giant claw of lightning grasping for Jasper's body. "Counter this with your pathetic wind!" He roared, his hand singed from the pure power of the attack.

Jasper was not prepared for the attack. It sheared right through the lightning defense, the strike then cutting his chest. His shirt's front was ripped as it cut his abdomen, causing him to scream as he hit the floor. Jasper began to feel weary, as he coughed up blood and his head fell back onto the clouds. They were soft and moist, as his blood fell through the cracks. His exposed chest bled all over his body, and onto his jeans. The last thing he saw was Siy, standing there with the electricity still cackling in his hands. "Screw you, and your stupid pride..." Jasper whispered, before passing out. -- Stamina [0/29] GP: 2 Total Gp: 20 Jasper is passed out- the thread is over.
