They stood before him no longer as the broken girls he had met in the desert so long ago. No longer as Tenko or Kirishi. But as women clad in black and gold whose eyes shone with the same deep emerald green as the Rose over which they were chosen. Their hair stretched down to their thighs: long white silken strands reminiscent of their sister Kiriko when they had fused. Their was a bittersweet sadness in their eyes, but the smiles they bestowed were more genuine than any the little liars had let on before. Not to wide; not too pursed. Merely a genuine happiness as the pair of them took in one deep breath before addressing their new father.

True Form: The true form of Hope is the belief forever present in the collective consciousness of man that things can get better.
Royal Domains: Hope is the understanding that things can get better. For one twin, this means that the world will get better. For another, it means you'll get better. In a sense, the twins exist in that connection that lies between a person and the rest of the world. "Connection" being the domain they are next most familiar with, partially due to their nature prior to transcendance as "Nothing" (a literal lack of connection). That being said, Hope is neither Mercy nor is it inherently Good. Hope for one person could mean Despair for a million others. And vice-versa. And while their ability to judge the worth of Hope is far beyond mortal comprehension, they are just as willing to allow a cruel dictator to enslave most of the world as they are watch a guiltless pauper conquer them. They are not the enemies of Despair, but rather see suffering as a transient state that will always eventually end. Or, as they are likely to put it: "There's no such thing as an ending; just a place where you leave the story. If things aren't right, your story isn't over yet."
Their domain takes the form of what they once foolishly called "The Akashic Records". The realm itself exists between all others, collecting the transient spirits whose souls have exausted themselves or been destroyed. They collect the memories of all living beings, oftentimes giving them one last chance to look over how they changed the world before letting them merge with the greater collective consciousness of mankind. This strange hobby is not done out of love for the lost, but rather as a plan for some unknown future wherein the only Hope humanity has left is that their memories will live on beyond their meager existence. A kind of resovior of unsinkable optimism that even after the Earth has been burnt to a crisp, something resembling their former selves will live on. At the same time the twins have debated with themselves and one another the possibility that they merely want to see the machinations their former selves laid before they transcended play out to the end. But having access to the almost limitless memories of the hopes and dreams of the souls destroyed in the past, predicting the outcome of their former lives isn't exactly the most difficult thing to do...
Physical Manifestation: The twins rarely manifest. When they do they are likely to take on their most familiar forms: A pair of women, albeit aged a couple years further than they ever had on Earth, clad in white and gold. Their eyes glow a brilliant copper-hue, oftentimes going gold or even with a tinge of azure highlights. Their skin a brilliant alabastar, always brighter than the ambient light and without a sign of scar or blemish. Their long black hair clean and silken. Their posture relaxed and playful, yet showing proper respect when greeted with the right guests.
The Law of Hope: Hope will only appear before lesser beings given one of three strict guidelines.
First and foremost, Hope will appear to protect its own domain. This is perhaps the only way to get Hope to manifest physically in the "real world", most often to defend the collective consciousness of mankind, although Hope will always try to take a more hands-off approach. Of course this means that attempting to access Hope's domain without their blessing will incur their wrath, not that many people in the history of man have ever been capable of such a thing.
That hands-off approach taking the form of dreams. Able to tug on the subconscious mind of the sleeping lesser races, Hope is capable of manifesting itself in their innerworld in the form of a dream. Here they can help point the being in the right direction, always towards a series of actions that'll result in the most change (and, thus, the most potential for new Hope).
The most common manifestation of Hope, however, is when your soul is on the cusp of being destroyed. Hope will take away whatever remains, usually your memories or spirit, and give you one last chance at singular consciousness in the records, most likely in the form of an afternoon tea, watching over the highlights of your existence before sending you on your way.
