How to Join Bleach Gotei
The One in Which We All Share
Introduction
Hello and welcome to Bleach Gotei, a "Campaign-style" roleplaying community based on our take on the Bleach setting. This means that membership is a privilege, not a guarantee, as some players may not fit well in our game just as some players may not fit well in your own, personal Tabletop RPG group.
The process for joining Bleach Gotei is simple and straight-forward enough to sum up in a few steps: come up with some ideas for characters, join our Discord server to share those ideas with the community and Game Master, and if the Game Master approves you for membership, fill out a simple character sheet.
Creating Characters
On Bleach Gotei, you can play any kind of person you can imagine, within the three major races present in our setting: Quincy, Arrancar, and Shinigami. You can play any number of characters you would like, as long as you are able to post consistently. Many players like to aspire to play one character of each major race.
Joining the Discord Server
Think of this as the interview stage. We want to get to know you and your character ideas! Join the Discord server, which you can find in the top navigation bar and along the side of the index page, and share some of your ideas with the community. We especially encourage you to talk about the things you would like to do in our game world with your characters and how they're going to be contributing to the setting with their presence.
Completing Your Character Sheet
Once you have been approved as a member, and your individual characters are also greenlit by our Game Master, you will need to fill out a brief character sheer. This includes basic information that other players should have easy access to, including some light history about how they have come to the point they are starting at. Maintaining an updated character sheet is very helpful, as it can provide a place to catch changing details (a new scar, for instance) that you may not mention in every new thread you create or join.
