Every now and again, humanity has some form of a downfall. Rome, Imperial Japan, England, King Arthur, The Way of the Samurai and Ninja, Iscandar's Rain, and so on and so forth. It is noted during these times, that someone had always became the reason. There is never a time when an Empire simply fell out of nowhere. Never once, and so forth never shall it be. One could imagine however, a world that simply fell. With no known reasoning and no manner in which it could have occurred. Such things normally are not looked upon by the world and forgotten in history's legends, and one such example is King Arthur.
Do not be deceived by legends. But do be open to them, as the legend you shall encounter within each word here fore and onward, shall be one not known to the world. A legend, forgotten by time and space alike, and even by those outside of time and space. The Gods and Goddess' know of in religion never mention these tales. Not a single one. But why is such a thing true? How could our beloved creator, or creators not share such knowledge with their most loved creations?
It is because even a god has regrets.
This legend, forgotten by time and space, eroded by the millennia from the stone it was once set in, was such a time that all wished had never occurred. By the will of the great, this tale's traces were removed from the world's physical plain. This world, our very own, is a world of fantasy for all. You may not realize who you are now, but by the time you have finished this tale, you will see the piece of that ancient tale that is attached to all the souls of this world, and many others in between.
If you should decide to carry onward, and read every last word, you will forever be changed. Your eyes will open to the light of legends and your mind ever be clenched by the desire to ask the almighty one simple word, yet one simple question. Why? However, do not rush to meet thy almighty. Strive to find your answer without asking thee for an answer. Impress the almighty, and you may wake from the everlasting dream. Are you able to continue, thou who is blind to the world in front of thee? Will you never wish to turn back? There is no coming back, youngling. Be aware and be filled with light, letting your heart fill the world with purity.
Do not be fooled. You alone choose your fate. Now young soul, will you prevail over darkness and chaos, or will you fall into the darkness to shield yourself from the peace and light that humanity has the ability to bring? You alone, have chosen as you read. Now, my youngling. Tell me, what is thy name?
"Woah!"
A loud shout left the lips of a blonde. long haired male as he flew up with his hand before him to grab at something. His eyes traced to his hand, finding an alarm clock with its cord ripped from the wall. Blinking a few times, he threw the clock across the room and into the wall, making a hole in the white walls of his bedroom to keep the many others company. Reaching to his night stand beside his bed, he opened a bottle of water and drank it swiftly before throwing off the covers.
"That damn voice again... it wouldn't stop. At first, I thought I was just dreaming. It couldn't of been over right? No... I got woken up in the middle of it again. Dammit!" He shouted, slamming his fist into the wall to make yet another indention to live with its brother holes and sister dents in the walls. The loud notice of water reached his ears, causing him to get up and open his bedroom door. The sound became quieter as he left his room, but returned to see water spraying into the air outside his house via his window.
"...What."
Opening his window and leaning out of it onto the steel balcony, he could see firemen working on the fire hydrant, closing it off slowly. It seemed like another day in the world, as per usual and the young man went to his closet. Dressed in his white lab coat and black pants with sandals to boot, the man crawled through his window and dropped to the ground below. His hair caught the wind, but fell to his sides upon slamming into the dirt below. His hands swiftly buttoned his jacket above the stomach, if only to avert his attention from the pain he had stupidly caused himself. 'Its not like I know any girls needing a man in their life anyway. Might as well show what I have.'
"Hey! Mind telling me what's up with this hydrant?! Its done this the past four days!"
A fireman heard him and walked over, his face tired and washed out from exhaustion.
"Its that dang gang I bet, Cleanse!" He seemed to think for a moment, scratching his beard but none the less spoke again. "This has been happening all over town! Electronics have been on the fritz, water systems have been jamming fer no reas'n, and I hear its something ta do with them new technologies we been usin' around town lately! Now be safe, Ashlyn!"
The younger male only nodded to the fireman, walking back to his house and going through the front door. In his home were many stones hanging from the ceiling, on the walls and decorating the top of tables. They were stones he had discovered with a group of friends that found an ancient mining shaft. He made a fortune from his discovery, and the young man gave most of it away after buying all that he ever wanted. In the end, Ashlyn had taken over entire orphanages to call them his own. His money was more than most could imagine, nearly seventy billion in the bank. They were a scientific breakthrough, and could be used for machines, people and even in... war.
The world had marveled at these strange minerals they now used for various means across the world. They were called Extellexeia. The intelligent stones that simply powered everything in the last ten years. Ranging from the size of a quarter to the size of a basketball, some were even bigger. They all however, glowed faintly. They could be used by people too, amplifying their abilities multiple times over. Ashlyn, kept most of the stones mined by his company safe and secure inside a vault for his own use. He saw their power, and wondered if someone could attain super human abilities with them.
He would never act on them, smitten by the large family he now had. Many children he adopted and called his own. Life moved well and slow for the blonde. He had everything he wanted, and most of his funds were liquidated into gold, jewels and other investments. He didn't want anything that lost value. No, he knew better as America was close to collapse those six years ago.
"I wonder... if I'll ever be bale to prove these are Blastia or Exspheres." Ashlyn murmured to himself, unaware that since the beginning of his life, they had been watching. His chaotic heart wanted nothing more than to be a hero. Ashlyn was no fool and knew the lives lost would be great for such a deed. But, it was not for long, as only months ago he had discovered twenty or so... special Extellexeia. He wasn't sure what to make of them, even as Ashlyn held one in his hand.
"I wonder... if I'll ever be a hero."
This would be the last time he and several others would be seen in our beloved world.
