It took a while but Ive forged the appropriate documents and gotten them notarized and am now in ownership of Bleach Gotei. I will no longer permit Tova to run roughshod over this community because he pays the bills. If you don't like this then leave with him.
He has six hours to reply with his compliance and be banned or I'll use the billing information still on his account to apply a five figure charge to his checking account. We can talk future owner after he's gone for good.
I say this out of more than idle curiosity--you see, one of the reasons Tova was an acceptable site owner was because we knew him. Because we knew him, we were aware of his past behavior and how he would act. Because we knew that, we were able to make an informed decision on whether he was the right guy for us.
Since the beginning you've been deliberately obscuring your identity. What makes you think you don't need to prove yourself to be worthy of doing something so fundamental?
Who are you, and why should we trust anything you say or do? Why are you the most qualified person to do this?
Also openly stating you'll be applying whatever charges on his accounts doesn't do anything but further alienate you from a community. We've always cherished being open and sorting out our problems where everyone can see it when applicable. In this case it actually just looks like I logged in, saw you threatening to ban Tova and cost him money and you're seizing the site. It looks like a hostile take over and, incidentally, no one likes a hostile take over.

Goodbye Tova.
If you try to continue to be a presence on this site or if anyone helps you i will charge your checking account a ridiculous sum. I might anyway see how you like being lied to.
And as a follow up, all we know of you as of yet is you have a penchant for making major executive decisions pending no warning or true reason. Such as removing all admins from power and banning them, and now using some poor business policies to rip control of the site from it's previous owner and threaten him with false charges put on his account should he refuse to meet your demands. Just what is it you've done to even remotely show you can be trusted with ownership of a site where so many come to enjoy themselves? Who's to say we won't wake up and all be banned from the site for good?

Honest question, is this guy for real or is this just someone putting on a mask and trolling the noobs? I see that he's already done this twice before, and as far as I can tell nothing has come of it, so is this Daishi character really trying to take over, or just getting bored and making a joke?
Seriously this guy's a dumbass. This feels more like petty revenge than anything else. And if it IS petty revenge why doesn't he just use Tova's money to buy a life that doesn't suck?

See, guy, here's the thing.
Communities like this one run on trust. No one is interested in playing a game if they think their writing, their investment in the game, is in any kind of danger. No one wants to play if they're scared of the people in charge, either. This game is exactly as successful as the staff's ability to be trusted, and will fall apart as soon as that's compromised. Accusations of favoritism and bias kill a game dead. Anything that makes people think about more than their characters kills a game dead.
I got my current position by a combination of competence and arguing. I've never done anything here more aggressive than, you know, using words. Like I'm doing to you right now. I'd actually just joined the first time you tried this, if you remember. So, hey I'd say I'm a pretty good example of how people rise to and keep power, as far as these things go.
You're holding a gun to everyone's heads and expecting them to cheer.
Why?
What good does this do a community?
It's an interruption we don't want. It puts fear into our minds.
You've committed a criminal act and threatened another; just, as far as I can tell, for kicks. What does banning Tova do? It certainly doesn't serve any greater good, it just satisfies whatever fucked-up revenge fantasy this is for you. There's an argument to be made that a change of ownership will benefit the game. Not necessarily one I'd side with you on, but I'll accept your premise. Banning him, though? What did he do to deserve that? You haven't told us. There was no due process. You pointed a gun to his head.
Is your aim to kill this site?
Because I'm sitting here trying to wonder what possible good can come of this, and I've got nothing.
Any trust you had is dead. Any justice you claimed to espouse, you shot in the foot when you broke the law.
Is your vision that the site continues and is, in some indefinable way, happier?
'Cause yeah, buddy, that ain't gonna happen.
People don't just go about their daily business if someone walks into their place of work and shoots their boss in the head and claims they're in charge.
I'm really curious what you think is going to happen next.
