THE IMPOSTOR
NAME :: “Lev”. He says he can introduce himself, but you wouldn’t hear it
AGE :: Unknown. It's been long since he lost count.
Appears to be at his early twenties
SEXUAL ORIENTATION :: Male. He's not sure why you bother asking.
LANGUAGES KNOWN :: Japanese and Russian. He can pick up tidbits of other languages, but he doesn't bother much. He learns it as they reincarnate into an entity in a new regional occupancy.
RACIAL BACKGROUND :: He’s not entirely sure, he says someone needs to tell him how it feels. Can a zanpakutou spirit remain a zanpakutou spirit after they break their limitations?
AFFILIATIONS KNOWN :: Third Division, Gotei 5... maybe.
LOYALTIES :: He thinks he’s loyal to Lyvalaea
He pretends to have a modicum of respect towards entities his shinigami is loyal to and acts accordingly to protect the relationship, but he’s not entirely keen on acting towards a concept he doesn’t entirely comprehend.
MUSIC THEMES

PHYSIOLOGICAL PROFILE
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT :: 5'5", 97lbs. He says that’s much heavier than he should be.
HAIR AND EYES:: He has nape-length strawberry-blonde tresses, with white wisps on various areas, often left unkempt. His eyes are hazy, like clouds heralding an incoming storm.

His true form is not revealed to the world, suppressed and hidden by a form he now possesses— that of his shinigami counterpart, with tinges of his own soul tainting its figure. A sort of customized body, really. This body, in complete contrast to him, brims with life and almost radiates with health. Almost.
The entirety of the body is a testament of how well its owner had taken good care of it. This hundred and fourteen year-old shinigami’s frame is lithe, with a slender curvature that is distinctly feminine. Too feminine for his tastes, even. Young, akin to a person in their early twenties. From head to toe, the skin is fair and supple, barely marred with scars and blemishes. Its nails are pinkish and well-manicured, and the complexion is clear enough to see the viridian veins on the hands and the arms. Even the pinkish networks of veins in its heart-shaped visage are visible, flushing the cheeks in a soft shade of rhubarb when hit by the sun. Though if one were to look closely, slightly hardened spots on the palms and underneath the fingers could be found as a result of decades of manual labor, tediously taken care of so as to avoid callouses. And these are only the things he couldn’t change.
Upon his dominance on this body, its bright silver eyes lost its shimmer and began to bear the same cold, hard gaze he dons, sometimes even bearing his signature squint. Its thin rosy lips that often curved an innocent smile now curled with silent disapproval, its vibrant blush-kissed cheeks turned cold and pale. Even its body withered to gauntness, its facial features more pronounced than ever, its eyes sunken with stress and darkened by eyebags. Its flowing, strawberry-blonde hair had lost its sheen, and now nothing but a mere mess of stringy and frizzy strands with wisps of white, cut short to reach only the base of its nape with only a single lock of hair that reaches to the chin. Even its reiatsu manifestation, once the form of a radiant sunflower, has been tainted with his black energy, less defined in its flower structure and more abstract, reminiscent to flames that vaguely take form.
If there was a singular trait that he managed to improve with his presence, it was that he fixed the natural abnormalities in the body brought about by his uncontrolled powers. This body bears a perfectly symmetrical skeletal frame, with nary a lump of calcium overgrowth, nor bearing the ridgeback of a spine it once had. Impeccable, even in its proportions, that its movements stop being hindered by incompatibly-sized joints.
As a zanpakutou spirit wearing the body of a person employed as a shinigami, he dons the regular shihakusho bereft of any adornments or distinctive modifications, with the average tabi and waraji instead of the usual flats the shinigami used to wear.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE
Lev is a soul that thrived from conflict, nourished with darkness, and grew from deprivation. As one half of a once dual spirit, he lived in a constant struggle for attention… for power. Not only does he yearn it, he thirsts for it. It can be said that it’s the consequence of keeping his options too limited for too long a time, of keeping him locked away unnoticed. Perhaps, even the consequence of leaving him too long with his thoughts, letting the malicious trains of thought rip away the remnants of what kept him normal. He turned into an opportunist of sorts, taking advantage of every opportunity to make his presence felt. A word. Maybe a gesture. At his worst, a slew of insults and half-truths.
NEGATIVE TRAITS
CRUDE :: :: He works in ways that some might find unrefined, sometimes even savage. He finds no use in finding kinder methods, not even considering the use of lighter words when it comes to his speech. Sometimes, it passes off as a severe lack of tact and a blatant focus on honesty, that even his gestures are suggestive of an actual intent to offend, veiled behind the guise of “taking action”. Just because he’d seen civilization doesn’t mean he actually followed it, often preferring the easier way of the old times. Paperwork? Law? All manmade. Most of them irrelevant. Procedure? Only if it negatively affects the outcome.
OBSESSIVE :: There are things that only require his determination: the willingness for his shinigami to accept his existence, to make her see the inherent evil in man, to open her eyes that even without other races, each race has a tendency to destroy their own. And then there are things that require his obsession. To find a pure soul to latch on to. To vanquish an oppressor. To seek answers to his own questions. When he latches into an idea or a thing that enticed or hurt him, he never forgets the imprint and obsesses until he finds a way to put an end to it— either complete possession, or complete obliteration. To a soul like him, things that drive him to determination are mere motivators. Those that drive him to obsession, however, stay with him as matters of life and death.
SADISTIC :: He’d seen pain. He’d experienced pain. He’d inflicted pain. And yet, all the more, he cherishes it for all it is. He relishes the very presence of suffering within his vicinity, sometimes even goes lengths to induce, or support it. Through the years, he’d seen it all— war, famine, pestilence, death. What more is the suffering of another person in the grand scheme of things? He’d seen things— he’d known things. And one of those, is that either the sufferer strengthens, or the sufferer breaks. It just so happens that he relishes not just the end, but also the process.
SELFISH :: In every word he speaks, in every gesture he does, there is the littlest hint of his selfishness veiled beneath… the desire to benefit himself, in one way or another. There may be times in which he appears to have slivers of concern over anyone or anything— but make no mistake. While he is not self-centered enough to think that the world revolves around him, he is selfish enough to think that his time is more important than others’. His biggest motivator for acting upon an affair depends largely on his perception of how it will please him, or how it will create a potential inconvenience for him in the future. The “why should I help you?” doesn’t always come up as a verbal question, but a constant thought that underlays the inquiries he has prior to committing.
POSITIVE TRAITS
DETERMINED :: Once he sets his mind on a goal, he never wavers until his vision is accomplished. He believes that souls have the inherent strength to achieve their goals, no matter how impossible, for as long as their consciousness and their effort is in the right place— and that this, of course, applies to him, despite having very little opportunity to exercise his will prior to having free control of an actual body. To Lev, determination and success stems directly from the strength not only of the will, but also of the soul.
"LOYAL" :: As a zanpakutou spirit, his loyalty is to his shinigami. And yet, this is not an aspect imposed by the nature of his soul— it is an aspect he chose to follow, a choice to keep him from wandering. Lev is many things, most of it far from the ideal supportive soul. He challenges. He provokes. He criticizes. And yet, despite the crude (and often misinterpreted) display of his affections, he only bears what is best in mind for whatever it is that he is loyal to.
PROTECTIVE :: Lev has a heightened sense of entitlement over the things he own, over the things he discovered, over the things he thinks is his. He may not treat his things nicely, but he doesn’t like anything else treating his things in the same manner, especially if it’s something that is incredibly precious to him. He makes no scales as to what lengths he is willing to go for the sake of protection, but he knows he’s willing to go far. And he knows this solely due to the knowledge that everything he is attached in this lifetime directly affects his existence, not only because they are rare but because they were well-chosen.
SIMPLE :: He is neither aesthetic, nor verbose. Even in his lifestyle, he prefers to have only what he needs for sustenance, without regard to the pleasure of luxury. At most, he has little to no interest in anything material, not even petty keepsakes or snapshots from the past. For a soul like him who frequently moves on from one life to the next, simplicity isn’t only what the world molded him to be, but a lifestyle he chose to pursue to “minimize his losses”.
CURRENT AFFAIRS
— Due to a spirit compatibility, Lev is unable to utilize any sort of action that requires active usage of this body's reiatsu channels, from kidou to using his own power. Any attempt results in explosions and temporal physical destabilization.
— Prohibited from the hospital except in cases of emergency, even then he is forbidden to go near any ailing patient.
— Their personal profile as Lyvalaea has been burned by Mirabelle Bonnet (ref). The new file named as "Lev Kandinsky" accurately lists Lyvalaea's academy grades and years of attendance, but the past was left vague, and the service history lists Lev as a menial worker in the Third from academy graduation to 2016. By Mirabelle's command, he was relegated to tending the library, and shortly after the Plague began, served as the library's keeper.
— Due to his inherent inability to control his reiatsu, he is also rendered incapable of controlling his power. Until such time that he learns control of it, his power seeps out as though in a state of Permanent Release.
