I don't know why and there's nothing I can do about it. Please bear with it until Tova gets on the case. Chat is down, spam prevention is down, actual posting should be just fine.

The spambots are pouring in my the bucketload. I don't know how to disable registration, but I disabled the posting ability of the 'Member' group. If I did it right, new accounts should only be able to post in the affiliates ssection until this is resolved. Which I'm assuming will be in like twelve hours at most. People with namecolor should be able to post as normal.

The thing I did might have made a lot of legitimate members, mainly former staff, unable to post. I'm in the process of fixing it. Got the problem accounts narrowed down to Shinigami and I'll have those fixed in the next 20 minutes or so.

Yaaay whiteys can post again!! <3
No they can't, I just specifically made an exception in your case.
@tova: The IPB license is outright missing. Chat and spam prevention are down. I assigned the member group guest permissions because I don't know how to disable registration entirely, as I banned 20 spambots today and we were getting roughly one new spam account every 15 minutes.
The forum itself is fine, layout-wise. It's backend-only.

Yeah, that happens sometimes.
Turns out I have an 802.11 n-band receiver in my brain. I managed to unlock my IPS account, reset the password, go through their new security thing, supply the necessary indentifying information, and then get my license key and paste it into the board.
Don't know why the board forgets it sometimes.
Problem solved.
Chat is up. Spam prevention is up. All is well again.
Would my fellow Administrators please delete the spam accounts? Thanks.
