The Greed and the Pride [Ranked Battle. Closed.]

On a normal day in Las Noches, one could expect to see the vast number of arrancar and the beings they called allies bustling about, even more so these days as the war for Hueco Mundo waged on outside in the endless sand dunes that the race of beings know as Hollows called home. on a normal day, the atmosphere was electrified with tension and excitement for the upcoming battles, and many arrancarr could hardly wait to go out beyond Las Noches and prove themselves in combat, all seeking to make a name for themselves. At the same time, everyone was more than a little suspicious with each other, for this war had many different armies and contenders, and one could never be quite sure as to whom one could trust these days. As such, on a normal day Las Noches was quite lively, as everyone was rushing around to prepare themselves for the battles ahead. This is what one could expect..... On a normal day in Las Noches.

Today, however, was by no means a normal day in Las Noches. No longer was there groups of arrancar, moving about and preparing themselves for war. Today, there was no plots, no little insignificant little dramas being played out among the grunts and foot-soldiers. No, today was far different from a normal day. Today was a day to keep alert, to stay inside their rooms, and to keep out of sight. The air was filled with fear and tension, because today two titans, two demi-gods, two Espada were going to fight today. Espada… these beings were the most powerful among all the arrancar, chosen for the fact that they were proven to be better than their fellow arrancar. The only beings that could even call themselves the peers of the Espada were the captains of the shinigami, and the vizard. This fight was as potentially dangerous as a giant hurricane, an appropriate comparison, for as Las Noches held its breath, one could describe the atmosphere with the phrase, “The calm before the storm”.
One might ask as to why these beings, who were supposed to be allies, would want to fight each other? The reason was quite simple; a challenge had been given, from one Espada to another. Louis von Herrmann, the Quinto Espada, had made it known that he had challenged Senshu, the Segundo Espada, for his rank. Such challenges were taken seriously among the arrancar, for such a challenge could only be ended in bloodshed. There was no reviewing, no judge that stopped the fight before one or the other fighter killed each other. No, a challenge among arrancar was always a fight, normally to the death. And among the Espada, a challenge must always be answered.
As Las Noches held its collective breath, the only sound that could be heard was that of everyone’s rushing heartbeat, for everything else was as silent and still as a forest when a great and terrible predator walked among the small and scared prey. Everything was still, until the door to the private quarters of Louis von Herrmann were thrown open, and he stepped out into the corridors, his back straight and his handsome features drawn into a slight grin, enjoying how the echoes of his doors slamming open echoed around him, the only sounds that even could be detected by his incredible senses. Louis did not normally give into the desires of engaging into dramatics, but even he knew that dramatics were demanded in situations, as they made the events so much more interesting. Not to mention that the vibrations also helped Louis to map out the corridors, allowing him to notice if Senshu had been foolish enough to have tried to ambush him before they fought. After making sure that such a thing was not the case, Louis grinned a little, and then began to walk, humming to himself as he moved to his next battlefield.

As he walked forward, his back straight and his steps ringing out in the silence, he had to admit, he was looking forward to this contest between him and the so called “God of War”. His fellow Espada had made quite a name for himself as a warrior, to the point that others had given him that title as god of war. Louis wondered for a moment, as his long strides carried him closer to his destination, on whether or not he would earn a title as well when he defeated his more famous peer. Louis allow this thought to flit through his mind for a few second more, then dismissed it as he noticed that he was finally where he wanted to be. “This is it,” Louis muttered, looking at the great doors in front of him, “this is the private quarters of senshu…. The room of the great God of war…….. ”He smirked as he drew out his great, preparing to kick out in front of him, “and the place where he will be slaughtered. ” With a tremendous kick, the doors flew out and into senshu’s room, followed by Louis as he strode in, his naked blade gleaming even among the dust from the kick “We both know why I am here, Senshu. Show yourself.” Finally, the battle among the titans had started, and as Louis stood there, he used his senses again, using the great boom that had resulted from his entrance to tell him everything he needed to know about the room he was going to fight in.

Black Sabbath Part II: A New Testament

Senshu flies through a black pit similar to the one he fell down when he first arrived, only he is being shot upwards through this one. The espada yells as he is drawn upwards, the silver chains around the gauntlets of his arms flailing for the pits of hell. It would appear as though the fallen warrior is not yet ready to again walk among the living, he wants to finish things once and for all with death so that he may attain a new power. Before he knows it however, blackness overcomes yamaguchi and once again, he is blinded. Like blindfolds, his eyelids flutter open with great speed as his eyes dart to and fro. Senshu yamaguchi pale and sweaty as all hell twists and turns on the thin blue mat he calls a bed as pain surges throughout his now very skinny body. A pulse returns to his heartless body and the wolf inhales deeply as if for the first time ever. His hair seems to have all but fallen out and his normal brutishly muscular body now resembles that of a starving african child. His eyes have sunken in so much , they almost appear non-exisitant. A black substance subtley begins to form around the endges of the lycans hollow hole which resides where his tainted heart used to be. It would seem the arrancar is now in worse condition than he was in when his body first ceased in function. his eyes dart over to the digital clock he keeps on his dresser. It reads "Sunday; April 24, 6:02pm." It's been two months? Impossible, how has no one noticed him dead by now? Why havent they come to dispose of his body? Unless of course the segunda hadn't died at all. Perhaps, his body just ceased in functioning. Maybe that's what he meant by "when i truley die" [/b]the espada thinks. Suddenly, senshu begins to yell from the pain coarsing through his body, it is unlike anything he has ever felt before. It feels as if someone were ripping his body apart layer by layer while bathing in corrosive acid as it happens. Soon this otherwordly pain would spread to his head causing the frail espada to jump up screaming and grabbing his head in agony. As he wreathes in pain, senshus door is suddenly kicked open and what looks to be an espada walks in..


“We both know why I am here, Senshu. Show yourself.”

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT?! GRAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!"

More pain surges through the espadas head and body as he tries to discern who this espada is. After several seconds, the pain gradually subsides and senshu gets a good look at the man intruding in his small tatami room. After catching his breath, senshu turns to the man infront of him to speak.

"So..its you..you're the ninth right? What the fuck do you want...wait lemme guess..you wanna..challenge me for my rank er somethin? *cough,cough,cough*


Sesnhu takes a moment to gather his thought and notices that not only is his body sickly, but it isnt in the demonic form it was just in before his consciouness was ejected from hell. He knows he is probably extremely weak at the moment but still, the segunda is far too arrogant to try and talk his way out of this. Instead he slowly picks himself up off his wooden floor and looks at the vibrant young espada with his pale near dead eyes.

" Well come at me then ya *cough,cough* pussy...i dont know why you would try n' fight me in this small ass room but fuck it..if you want this ta be yer burial site then lets go..."

Even though senshu is one of the top three espada, he didnt choose to make his room some grand corridor like all the others. He is a simple man when it comes to fashion so he just chose to go with what he is used to, a small tatami room with no bed just like he had when he was a human. Senshu then clenches his fists together and slowly rushes at louis, aiming a punch for his jaw.

As Louis stepped into the room, the noise that had been generated from his rather unorthodox entrance came back to him, painting a mental picture of the room and its contents for him. It appeared that senshu was not one to indulge in needless decorations, as the room was small and bare. He didn’t even have a bed in which to sleep, which shocked Louis a bit, considering this arrancar was always greedy for power. Louis had expected at the least to see various trophies which Senshu had collected, but apparently Senshu was not the kind of guy to collect such things. As Louis noted all of this, he also noted that there was a wailing, sickly looking man who was obviously in great pain. This creature, whatever it was, obviously was in a great deal of pain, as it would not shut up about how much it hurt, screaming at him as he looked on at this pathetic display.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT?! GRAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!" Obviously, something was wrong here. Either A: Louis had entered the wrong room, which seemed to belong to this pitiful thing, or B: This was Senshus room, and while he was not home, this creature (His fraccion? Or some kind of pet that he keeps around? thought Louis) was left here. Well this is unfortunate. It looks like I’ll need to look somewhere else for Senshu. Never took him for a coward…. Louis thought to himself, turning to exit the room. However, the next thing that the creature said stopped him in his tracks.

"So..its you..you're the ninth right? What the fuck do you want...wait lemme guess..you wanna..challenge me for my rank er somethin? *cough,cough,cough* Surely not…. Am I supposed to believe that this…. This is Senshu? The God of War, looking like a pitiful begger? Is this some kind of a joke? Louis turned around, looking closer at the figure trying to stand up, imagining it with muscles and more hair. It is him… I can hardly believe it, but this Is Senshu. Thought Louis as he looked at him, so shocked at this transformation that he hardly was able to catch what senshu was saying.
" Well come at me then ya *cough,cough* pussy...i dont know why you would try n' fight me in this small ass room but fuck it..if you want this ta be yer burial site then lets go..." As Senshu said this, he rose up on unsteady legs, then began to charge toward Louis, charging at Louis seemingly with the intent to attack him. The entire pathetic display pissed Louis off. Just who the fuck does he think he is, that in such a state he will attack me? This… this disrespect will not be tolerated by one like me. I’ll show him just how stupid he is to try such a thing. As Louis thought this, he raised a hand as senshu charged forward. “Two things, Senshu. I am no longer the ninth, but the fifth. And if you think I’ll allow you to make such a pathetic display of yourself while trying to fight me, you’re dumber than I thought you were.”

After saying this, Louis released the bala he had prepare, sending it straight towards senshu as he tried to reach Louis. “Don’t fuck around with me, you pathetic mongrel. In the state you’re in, you’ll have to do better than that to have the pleasure of crossing blades with me. Release your zanpakuto, and fight me with it,” Louis practically snarled as he spoke this, his pride wounded at such a slight he had been given,” or I’ll do all the Espada a favor and wipe you out. Its not a request either. This is a fucking demand, got it mutt?” Louis glared at Senshu, still obviously pissed that his opponent was in such a state before the fight.

As senshus fist moves towards louis, it connects with the fifth's pre-prepared bala. The segunda is sent flying back several feet until he hits the wall on the other side of his room, vreating a large hole in it. Yamaguchi slowly gets up and spits a small glob of blood out to his side. After a short coughing fit, he squints his eyes and grinds his teeth in anger at what von herman had said. Although senshu knows that what he's really mad at isn't his challenger, but himself. How could he let his body deteriorate to such a pitiful condition? Even if the circumstances were uncontrollable, the espada should have found a way to beast through this sickness like a true warrior. But judging by the current situation it would seem such a feat was and still is far from attainable. Breathing heavily, the lycan cracks his neck and begins to think of what he is going to do next. Usually, he would just charge in like the beserker he is and then adjust his attack accordingly, but now such a thing could mean instant death.


“Don’t fuck around with me, you pathetic mongrel. In the state you’re in, you’ll have to do better than that to have the pleasure of crossing blades with me. Release your zanpakuto, and fight me with it,”


"Grrrrrrrrrrrr....why dont you fuckin make me. you lowly piece a' shit.." *cough,cough,cough*

The arrancars fists begin to shake out of a combination of anger, frustration and sickness. Senshu can't help but remember that the last time they fought, he hadn't even released his zanpakto until it was almost over. And now louis wants him to take it out before things are even really beginning. The espada does consider this for a quick second as his hand hesitantly moves to his blades handle but quickly it jerks away as if it had a mind of it's own. His warriors pride would not allow him to do such a thing. Instead, the crippled creature strats to huff and puff out of frustration as he continues to think of any possible mode of attack, but then Von herman decides to continue speaking, an action that will cause something to reawaken within the wolf kings soul.

"I’ll do all the Espada a favor and wipe you out. Its not a request either. This is a fucking demand, got it mutt?”

That word, 'mutt', in my entire time of existance everyone seems to call me by that word. mutt..Even when i was alive, every basterd i knew would call me that. I'm tired of it. I'M FUCKING DONE. No matter how strong i get, no matter how much i take, how much i conquer, HOW MUCH I DEVOUR. EVERY body wants to call me by that word. mutt.. they want a mutt, i'll give em a fuckin mutt, i'll give em a fuckin HOUND..

"..what the fuck did you just say...you fuckin cockroach.."


Suddenly a flame of anger and life burns deep within the depths of yamaguchi's belly. His eyes twitch and that well known vein at the left corner of his forehead begins to throb. It would seem he's finally had enough. He begins to growl like the dog he is as bones begin to slowly sprout out all over his arms, blood dripping down to the wooden floor as they pierce his frail skin. Even if it may mean his death, senshu no longer cares, he's ready to take everyone in the vicinity with him like a kamikaze warrior. This may be his last fight, but if he's going back to hell, he's dragging louis von herman down with him.

"You think you can take me! You’re gonna need a fucking ARMY to take me! i'm Senshu yamaguchi motherfucker!

Senshu charges at louis with great rage and furious anger and fires a barrage of pointed bones at him before jumping in the air above, redish orange light forming in his bleeding hands which are now clasped together. He yells as if he's making a statement to the entire espada army and not just louis

"I'LL BURY YOU FUCKIN' COCKROACHES!!!!"

As senshu comes down he extends his hands and releases a gran rey cero in his own room. His eyes, burning with passion like a sinner in the depths of hades,The former god of War no longer cares for anything but killing the man infront of him.

"..what the fuck did you just say...you fuckin cockroach.."
There it was. Louis thought as he saw the flicker of life course through the wolfs eyes, a fire that seem to spread throughout the mutts body, seemingly bursting at the seams as if his hate for that word could not be contain in such miserable little excuse of a body. Finally, the hound of hell had been reawakened, and was now going to put up a Real fight. Next, however, Louis saw something very odd happen to Senshu. Bones appeared to jut out of his body now, and something very odd was happing to his body, as Louis could hear the vibration inside of Sen. Sens entire body shook from the strain of this metamorphism, and Louis almost grimaced as he could only imagine just what the Hound was experiencing right now. However, at the same time, Louis could not help but grin as well, for his enemy was finally stopping with the weak shit he had started with, and decided to actually try and fight him.

"I'LL BURY YOU FUCKIN' COCKROACHES!!!!"
Senshu leapt into the air, firing off what appeared to be sharp shards of bone straight towards Louis. Louis leaped as well, intercepting Senshu as he gathered his reiatsu to fire off a Gran rey Cero, a potent attack that was limited to Espada only, because of its fearful power and the drain it puts on the person using the attack. Normally, Louis would never actually try this in a normal fight, as running into such an attack was usually a horribly bad idea. However, Louis had noted how Senshu seemed to be a lot slower than before, so slow in fact that Louis, by using sonido, managed to reach him just before the attack fired. As Louis reached Senshu, he immediately slammed one arm into Sen’s arms, so that the attack grazed him, but with the brunt of the attack hitting the roof of Sens room, allowing Louis to shove his free arm forward, slamming his hand into Sen’s throat as he began to choke the life out of the scrappy mutt, smirking at the pathetic wolf as it struggled in his grip.
“Perhaps you thought that the reason this fight was going so one-sided was because you have become weaker, Mutt. Perhaps you thought that at your normal strength you could still fight me and win. I’m terribly sorry to destroy this little illusion you had, but that’s just not the chase. Feel my reiatsu, you old mutt. And Try,” Louis raised his voice as his grip tightened, to further demonstrate his next point, “Just try to tell me that I am the same as I once was!” Louis wore an expression of triumph as he looked on at his foe, feeling the already failing power that Senshu possessed slow down. He lowered his husky voice, as if trying to share a personal secret with Senshu, a man to man conversation. “If you really give it some thought, I think you’ll agree that you don’t deserve your rank anymore, Old mutt. Its time, Senshu, for you to die so that the ranks of the Espada won’t be defiled by your pitiful displays any longer.” Louis stared into his enemies’ eyes, their purple red hue still as intoxicating as ever, his little smirk telling Senshu that Louis had complete faith in himself, and that regardless of what happened in the fight, Louis had complete faith that Sen would die, and that Louis will live on to take his title, and that there was nothing that Sen could ever do about it.

Taking advantage of senshus slow speed, Louis manages to mostly avoid the segundas gran rey cero, only getting grazed on the shoulder. Frankly at yamaguchis power level, it's surprising von herman was even affected at all. The fifth then wraps his fingers around Senshu's frail neck, and what little life the espada has remaining, begins to slowly fade from his body. The lycan flails his arms, punching them against louis's body, stuggling to break free, but to no avail. My how the tables have turned, before it was the segunda who dominated others with his raw strength, but now, it seems he cannot even escape the grasp of his offender. The veins on his forehead begin to arise as the air continues to leave his body, his breathing begins to gradually slow.

Perhaps you thought that the reason this fight was going so one-sided was because you have become weaker, Mutt. Perhaps you thought that at your normal strength you could still fight me and win. I’m terribly sorry to destroy this little illusion you had, but that’s just not the chase. Feel my reiatsu, you old mutt.



The dog man grits his teeth in frustration as he continues to try and break free.

What?! how DARE he even think such a ludicrous notion. Him stronger than me?! Truley his arrogance has consumed his reasoning. If i were in my prime, NO, if i were half of what i was i would fucking destroy this insolent little worm. Hmph, illusion. The only illusion being cast here is by this man believing he is even in my class. I am elite! I am the almighty!!


"Just try to tell me that I am the same as I once was!”

Senshu moves his lips very slowly, using some of his last breathes just to retort to louis's statement.

"No matter how much you progress..ugh...you'll still...be low level trash..."


The espada then spits in at his opponents face in what may be one final act of disrespect. It is amazing that despite being chocked to death, the espada still finds a way to slip in a snide remark. This may be his last however since yamaguchi only has about ten seconds of air left before his lungs cease to function and his body shuts down completely. However, one last idea comes across the segundas mind before he dies, although it isn't one he finds too favorable. He slowly and descretely reaches for the handle of his blade with his shaking right arm. As he does this, Von Herman speaks once more.


"you don’t deserve your rank anymore, Old mutt. Its time, Senshu, for you to die so that the ranks of the Espada won’t be defiled by your pitiful displays any longer."


At that moment, another though hits the espada as he quickly unsheathes his blade and brings it inbetween the two of them. Ranks of the espada? Such a thing seems so irrelevant at this time. The espada, sougetsu, arrancar. Senshu had spent so much time trying to climb the ranks, to grow stronger than sougetsu, that he hadnt even got to complete his other, more important goals. It makes the whole espada thing seem so superfluous now. It could be said that death has a funny way of doing this to people, changing their perspective that is. Maybe Senshu should have just been more direct, more immediate with his plans instead of trying to out-do sougetsu at his own game. With seconds left of life, Yamaguchi brings the blade to his stomagch to pierce through his flesh. He then slowly rips through his torso, bringing his blade up to his own sternum while chanting a certain phrase.

"Darles nada...C-Canina Canibal..."


Suddenly a pale red light covers senshu and a quick vibration of force exerts from his body, to release him from louis's grip and sending himself back several feet. His body begins to transform and when it finishes, the red light enshrouding him goes away. He has now entered his released form but something seems different. his body mass hasnt change and he is physically built the same. What normall should be mask fragment covering his arms, torso and the sides of his face are now cracks portions of mask covering some of those parts very poorly. One of his hands have transformed into a canine-like claw like normal, but the other has remained the same. Whats really surprising though is his sword. Usually it turns into a giant bone-sword, which it has but large chunks of it are falling apart. So, it would seem that not only is his body sick, but his sword is as well. It would seem the almighty has truley fallen. his body not really able to handle this sort of hastey transformation, Senshu finds him self almost falling from extreme dizziness and nausia. He stumbles around for aa bit befor finally tripping and bursting through his wall, falling out of his room and down several stories from las noches castle. Still confsed, he almost his the ground, but manages to fly a bit to ease his landing onto the white sands below. The wolf demon struggles for a bit before finally picking himself up off the ground and staggering a few feet and regurgitating blood which has now been completely engulfed by the murky black substance which has all but filled his hollow hole and spread across his entire body. But all the stubborn warrior can think of at the moment is how he's had to resort to using not only his zanpakto but his release form against someone like Louis. How pathetic. The espada then turns around looking for louis as his grips his almost broken sword, ready for his next move. Senshu raises his rieatsu as high as he can as he prepares for the next few moves he is ready to preform.


"c'mon ya basterd...you wanna kill me fine. But im taken you with me..."

Even now, with the truth staring him right in the face, the mutt still could not face the simple but undeniable fact that Louis had indeed grown stronger, and that even now, as Louis barely made an effort in choking him, he fought against Louis, much to his amusement. even now, you fight against me, refusing to acknowledge the fact that you are losing. For fucks sake, I'm not even trying to really fight you. Even now, with only my bare hands, using easily telegraphed moves, you can't seem to resist. But don't worry, I'll end it soon enough. Louis paused in mid thought to hear what senshu has to say.

The espada then spits in at his opponents face in what was most likely to be his last petty show of disrespect. It amazed Louis that Sen seemed to think he had the luxury to try and slip in another sign of disrespect, even while he was being chocked to death. Louis had to admit, Senshu had balls to try and provoke Louis while facing against him. However, Louis has not going to fall for this little trick again. He was the master of his own emotions, and he would not allow them to rule him and make mistakes. However, Louis has to admit that although he was sure he would have won regardless of senshus current condition, he was looking forward to a titanic battle between him and the wolf. Instead, here he was, putting this mangy mutt out of its godforsaken misery. As such, Louis allows himself the pleasure of telling senshu just what he thought of him, and how he was going to replace him.
"you don’t deserve your rank anymore, Old mutt. Its time, Senshu, for you to die so that the ranks of the Espada won’t be defiled by your pitiful displays any longer."
However, with the last few seconds left of his life, Senshu brought the blade to his stomach, piercing through his flesh. As louis looked on, watching senshus face grimace with disgust, he ripped his blade through his torso, bringing the blade up to his own sternum while chanting a phrase.

Suddenly a sickingly pale red light covered the mutt, and a quick burst of reiatsu flows out of sens body. Louis released his grip on sen, and watched with a look of triumph as it sent senshu back several feet. The dogs body began to transform itself into what looked like a pale dead like copy of the mutts normal transformation. Louis smirked a little as he watched senshu stumble around, his body seemingly unable to handle this transformation. Louis found himself laughing as he watched senshu
actually falling out of his room, where it seemed his final destiation was the ground. The mutt finally seemed to regain enough of his sense to ease the fall, but the truth
had already been observed. When senshu fell out of his room, Louis could not help but think that senshu had fallen in more than one place. Fallen from grace, fallen from power, and fallen from fucking dignity. The mutt struggled for a bit before finally picking himself up off, regurgitating blood as he did so. It seemed that some sort of black was mixed in there as well, but Louis was not interested in this, for he was far too busy enjoying the sight of the mutt as it was clearly in pain from the raw truth. He was losing to Louis.
"c'mon ya basterd...you wanna kill me fine. But im taken you with me..."

"I rather doubt that, mutt." Louis replied as he stood in senshu's room, smiling at him as he watched the audience that had gathered to watch the battle between them. "I believe I have already told you this senshu, but for the sake of our audience, I'll repeat myself. I have found you guilty of the most heinous crime one of our magnificent and proud race. I have found you to be WEAK. And as such, you will be made an example of." having said this, Louis then stabbed his sword into the ground, a testament of his confidence in his ability to deal with the mutt. Louis then prepared for the next move. Some people show strength in different ways. Some play around with their opponents. Others let their opponents attack them, then laugh off the effects. The next move was important, as Louis was forced to play for the crowd and show them his strength. For Louis, this was no longer a fight, but a show for the crowd. Body language was key in this, as was his ability to show off. So, Louis chose this response to his opponent. He was going to end this in one strike.

Louis had a certain ability, even without the release of his blade. He could sense vibrations all around him, and as such this gave him lots of information regarding his surroundings and his opponents. However, Louis could alter this trick just a tiny bit. He could make it so that he focused his ability onto just one target. In exchange for this, he lost his mental map, but gained insights about his opponents that he never would have had in the first place. Information like where the structure of the body was weakest for example. Sen never saw it coming. After all, surely he had never faced an opponent with such an odd ability, right? As his sonido landed him right in front of the weakened mongrel, Louis was in the standard fighting position. His feet were planted into the ground, and his fists made a guard as he suddenly appered in front of senshu. From his hips he twists his entire body around, making a perfect textbook right straight at sen, into the center of senshus chest. Two things made this attack different from the others that Louis had launched against his opponent in this fight. First, his fist was guided by the information that was clear inside of his head, telling him where his punch would do the most damage to his opponent. And second, this attack, Louis was not holding back. This was not a simple bala designed to piss off his opponent, and this was not a simple choke hold designed to punish senshu. No, this attack was Louis actually using his own strength to shatter the mutt. This was no longer Louis playing around. This was designed to kill Senshu, and Louis rather doubted that senshu could do a damn thing about it.

The espada looks around for a bit at the crowd that had gathered. So this is his intention, to humiliate the segunda in front of an audience, how utterly unacceptable, they will be dealt with. Gritting his teeth in anger, Senshu ignores the crowd and runs with his sword raised above his head, letting loose a ferocious battle cry. He knows this is an extremely simple attack that even a brain dead monkey could avoid and counter, but with his rieatsu now completely gathered together, his motives are not exactly as they seem. The segunda may be a shell of his former self, but with this last bit of strength and will power, he will use one of his favorite old tactics.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before the espada can develop another coherent thought, Louis appears directly in front of him, sending a right punch at the dead center of his chest. This is it; this is what the wolf demon was hoping the fifth would do. This is his opportunity to end his challenger with one move; however, it also seems this may be it for Yamaguchi's life. As the punch connects, all of bones in the segundas chest begin to crack and break. The punch is so powerful in comparison to the espadas body that instead of sending him back, it actually pierces through his skin, muscle tendons and bone to go through his insides and out past his spine to the backside of his body. Senshu's eyes widen in pain as this happens, but just as the punch goes through his bone, that same bone wraps around Louis's arm. Simultaneously, he wraps his arms around Louis’s body to try and get hold of him. The lycan doesn't need to use any force to crush or bind him, he just needs to keep him in place for only a second, and for all of this would only be a prelude however to what happens a split second later.


"ghh, heheh..yer fuckin boned..."


Thousands of pointed bones suddenly erupt from the ground all at once around senshu and Louis. As the bones near them pop up, more would continue to appear with each passing milli second until they cover a one hundred meter radius. As they emerge, each bone would quickly reach the height of an average tree in the amazon rainforest (about 196 ft), easily impaling the large crowd that had gathered to watch the fight. If the segunda was to fall, he would make sure there are no on-lookers to witness it. This was senshus final attack, or so it would seem, however, when the bones came up from the ground, they didn’t impale the arrancar himself, but form around him, making it appear if though he's disappeared. Several seconds later, knowing Louis might have found a way to dodge the attack Senshu, after waiting to see where his enemies' body appeared, jets out one of the several thousand bones around Louis and moves to pierce him with one long bone extended from his right palm.





Revelations
All of my existence both alive and dead, I’ve been ridiculed for my failures! I’ve been cast aside as an inferior being, treated as nothing but scraps for the dogs! I’ve been looked down upon and all my existence i have CRUSHED those same blasphemers, those same heretics!!

Senshus blade would move closer to Louis’s face, or at least where senshu believes it to be.

I've always decimated those who dare question my power and i won’t stop here! I'm senshu mother fuckin Yamaguchi God dammit??!!!!!

"I AM GOD!!!"


From what senshu believes to be inches away from Louis's face, his entire body suddenly freezes in motion, only his torso sticking out of the bone from which he emerged. The only part of his body that is moving is his eyes which slowly look down below him.

The lycan's body, stiff as a board ceases all function completely, it would seem the effects of Von Herrmann’s' punch have taken their toll. Without another word, Senshu Yamaguchi has died.

Louis could hardly contain the feeling of triumph that coursed from his fist through his arms and from there to every other part of his body. Of course, it was no true surprise that his plan would work, for it was he that had come up with the plan, and Louis never made mistakes. Every little detail in his plan had worked out just the way he had known it would. This was not merely just Louis gaining a new rank among his peers. This was designed for him to gain a reputation, and power. It was never really about the rank he was now going to acquire. If anything, Louis believed the only rank that would satisfy him was either primera, or King. However, despite all this, Louis knew that openly challenging either of them at the moment was beyond foolishness. The current king was far too strong, and Louis would have to face other groups and rivals that would clamor for the throne. Louis was too smart to try that. And as for fighting the primera… true, he had no doubt in his mind that he could fight him, and win if he truly gave it everything he had. But, defeating the Primera would not accomplish what Louis desired. No, for Louis to show the world just how strong he was, he had to eliminate someone that had a reputation for being a beast. And so, he had challenged the only other worthy opponent, “The God of War.” Louis was so busy chuckling that it took him a second before he realized that something was not quite right. His hand appeared to be stuck in the mutts body, and Senshu was trying desperately to keep Louis in one place. Louis looked into the eyes of his foe as the Mutt grinned at him, their faces merely a foot away from each other.
"ghh, heheh..yer fuckin boned..."


Suddenly, the ground underneath Louis began to rumble, his extra sense shouting a warning as thousands of pointed bones erupted from the ground all around himself and Senshu. As Louis gazed around him, more bones began to appear with each passing second, covering a vast difference around the two. Louis quickly absorbed all the details that he could from this attack, noticing that the height these bones were huge, tree sized in fact, and that Senshu had managed to take care of the closest crowds of people. This new attack that Senshu had used managed to not only attack the crowd, but also surround him as well, obviously designed to protect senshu from harms way. As Louis had already ripped his first from Sen, Louis was free to move within the new confined area, but Louis refused to do so. Senshu might have taken out some of the crowd, but there were others watching, and Louis refused to move an inch, instead taking the time allow his extra sense to extend all around him, finding out more about these bones that senshu had created. It was this that allowed him to sense Senshus final attack and turn around in time to allow him to see senshu, face to face.
Louis looked on as senshu prepared to skewer him with a sharp bone emitting from his right arm, and did not even blink as the sharp edge moved closer to him. Time froze for Louis, the seconds stretching out in the curious way it sometimes does when in a fight. Louis looked on at his opponent, and never turned away from him. Perhaps, if senshu had not fallen into some animal rage with nothing else on his mind but killing Von Herrmann, he might have wondered why he would not move. Was it a sense of fear that had paralyzed the beautiful and pale man that stood before him? Was it a form of stubborn defiance, the kind that refused to retreat from anything? Although those could have been the reasons, they were not. No, Louis merely stayed there because the battle was over. Louis could read it in every tiny bit of Senshus body. This was not a final attack of a conscious warrior. This was the aimless movements of a beheaded chicken, merely running around, unaware that it was dead. And so, when Senshu finally succumbed to deaths embrace, no doubt kicking and screaming as it happened, Louis merely tapped his finger on the bone weapon senshu held, and merely walked away as the forest of bones shattered around him, and as those that had witnessed the fight watched him regally stroll amongst the shower of Senshu’s final creation, they muttered as they watched him, whispering at the power he had shown. Some say that it was one of the onlookers that had watched the fight give him the title he wore from then on out. From then on out, he was known as the “Pale Prince of Hueco Mundo”, and he wore that title with pride from that day forward.

Senshu Yamaguchi…rise, and meet your fate…


A hauntingly familiar voice faintly whispers, its low voice echoing throughout the area. Flashes of pure white light enter Senshu’s retinas as his eye lids slowly blink, life returning to them with each flutter. Confused and groggy, Senshu lifts his upper body up off of the ground to try and asses his current situation. As he wearily rubs his eyes, a tall dark image fades in and out of focus and senshu determaines that he is in some kind of all white room, with no trace of beginning or end. After adjusting his eye sight, the espada gets a good look of the figure standing infront of him and what he views is something beyond what can be explained by simple logic. It is none other than Senshu himself, only naked with his private area covered by a black flame and his eyes burning with the intensity of that same flame. Seared to his arms are what appear to be chains and going down his body is a red tattoo, the same color of blood. Besides those slight differences, everything else including his long black hair and deep voice are all the same. Completely confused and still a bit woozy, Yamaguchi does not even try to speak, instead he just looks at the doppleganger before him in disbelief.

What the hell is this, some sort of joke? Why am I staring at myself right now, I just died didn’t i? Maybe that Von Herrmann used some kind of illusion trick on me..nah, that can’t be it, his ability involed sound, so for him ta have a completely different ability would make no sense whatsoever….what the fuck is goin on here…



Death
Before the lycan can even ask, the replica in front of him opens its mouth to speak first, explaining everything Senshu needs to know.

“I..am death Senshu yamaguchi, the real death. Not a death god that purifies souls like the soul reapers you despise so much, but actual death. I am what causes living beings to actually cease in existence and turn into nothing but souls. I am pure in every conceivable way. I have taken this form because your mind would not be able to comprehend what I truly look like. I have taken the form of the one person that has brought you closest to me the most over the century..yourself…a few seconds ago, I killed your body, for good this time. I am here to personally drag your soul back to the depths of hell where it belongs so that you may sereve as the new Belphegore for all eternity..”


Senshus expression slowly turns from one of beweilderment to one of seriousness as Death speaks. He remembers his previous journey down into hell when he ‘died’ from sickness a few months back. The God of war picks him self up off of the ground and quickly notices that he has his sword at his side. He squints his eyes and clenches his fists as he speaks to Death.

“so…you’re what Lucifer and Greed were talking about…well then, since you know everything else about me im sure you know im not gonna be goin’ along quietly. I know about this next level of powewr waitin for me if I defeat you. And that’s exactly what I plan on doin..”

Senshu quickly unsheathes his sword, staring Death directly in its epherial soulless eyes.

“ I expect nothing less. However your efforts will be in vein as your soul is the most corrupt thing I have ever come into contact with, even more so than Lucifer and Belphegore thtemselves. Therefore I must ensure that it is banished to the deepest cirlcle of hell where it belongs. .”


Suddenly the chains seared to Deaths arms extend to its feet and large stone blades appear at their ends.

“Belphegore!”

Senshu yells before stabbing his blade into the white ground, which makes it seem as if the blade is floating. His body is enshrouded in a green light and The segunda transforms into his hell form. His body now completely black somewhat resembling a suit, and his eyes flaming green, he begins to walk up to death and chains extend from the gauntlets around his arms and legs. Death begins to walk up to Senshu in return and the chained blades are brought up to its hands. The two then go from walking to eventually running straight towards one another across their long distance of separation and finally meet , crossing weapons.

In the world of the ‘living’ aka: las noches…

Senshus dead frozen body, protruding halfway out of the one remaining bone spike, begins to change a bit, very suddly at first. The bones inside of the body start to slowly extend and grow larger , while the skull and facial bones graduall form into a different shape. The hair around the body begins to grow out as well.

I could not have asked for a better performance from that greedy idiot thought Louis as he allowed himself a tiny little smile of satisfaction to grace his perfect features, strolling across the sandy dunes which served as the floor for most of las noches. He was heading over to the crowds at a leisurely pace, allowing his audience to watch him bathe in the gory glory he had just achieved. Although I had planned to fight him at full power in front of the masses, thus using his death as a perfect beginning to my rise in power, the fact that I showed them just how weak he had become will remain in their minds for quite some time at least.

Louis looked over at the grand building that housed the Espada, and his tiny grin of satisfaction seemed to grow even wider. This is what stupid mongrels like Senshu never truly understood. Power is not just something to be used in mere physical fights. No, true power lies in using that power for greater gains. In other words, Politics. Unlike myself, Senshu declared himself as neutral in the war, preferring to remain outside of any single banner. But I actually "Serve" Louis chuckled at the thought of him actually "Serving" anyone. Leon, and so with my rise to senshus former rank, the vacuum of power will shift. Anyone who was watching the fight just now that posses even a gram of common sense will have noticed this, and will now have to adjust their plans accordingly. And so, despite the fact that he was weak, this plan of mine was a complete success.

It was about this time that Louis finally began to notice just what was going on behind him. As he walked forward, looking as regal as a marble statue in motion, he paused, turned around, and looked back at Senshu. The bastard was changing! Louis shook his head at the sight, hoping that if he was to ever die at someone's blade (Unlikely though that would be) that he would not put up such a pathetic display of greedily clinging to his life. "You just simply don't get it do you, senshu," Muttered Louis as he looked on at the Mongrel. "You just cant seem to learn when to stop. Its undignified." Of course, this little display the Dog was playing was wrecking with Louis and his plans. If he kept this up, Louis would have to show effort in attacking him, and that was unacceptable. The whole purpose of this was to show how Louis had become an force to be reckoned with, and if the damn mutt would not stay dead for more than half a fucking minute, everything will be useless. I need a way to finish him off quickly, and in a manner so that the peons will be impressed once again, and maybe I can solve this Thought Louis with a scowl on his face, pissed that the damn dog would not just stay dead like everything else and trying to think of just what action to take against the damn dog.

As Louis pondered what to do, he noticed that his right hand was still coated in the blood from senshu, when Louis had simply punched a hole straight through him. Louis grinned at this, raised his hand and aimed it at the espada. Why bother shedding my blood when I have a source right here? As the Gran Rey Cero began to charge, Louis called out, just in case the Mutt could hear him. "Take a lesson from your better, Dog, and just learn to accept when its time to die. Gran Rey Cero!" The reiatsu that had been gathered around his first suddenly flew out, aimed directly at the mutt to ensure that this time, he would stay down.

To Destroy Death
The two entities cross weapons, their steel roaring with the ferocity of a mountain being toppled. Simultaneously they would each rear back to swing forward again in an attempt to eviscerate one another. Blow for blow, strike for strike, these two beings of the spirit would brawl for what would seem to be hours in a prodigious battle for supremacy. However, while things the two competitors seem evenly matched at first, Death begins to take its toll on Senshu who is quickly beginning to run out of steam. The two continue to engage, and with the next few strikes, Death manages to land critical blows on Yamaguchi, not only taking out chunks of his torso and shoulder, but something else as well.

"ghhh..."

What was that just now? He cut off some of my stomach but it felt like somethin' else went with it. somethin' deeper...As his blade was returning to him it felt as if....as if he had pulled away a part of my soul....son ofa bitch..


Before the espada can react, Death rushes in to once more engage him. The Daunting sound of chains crackling and ripping the wind fills the air as one of Deaths blades sweeps across Senshus chest, and the other across his legs in kind. More of his soul has been taken from him and with only a few more strikes, Senshu Yamaguchi will belong to Death itself. With the segunda now kneeling on the ground in fatigue, the ominous specture that is his enemy quietly and swiftly rushes for him, at which time, Senshu lifts himself up and run towards his enemy in return. The grim Reaper then swings his chains out ward and the blades go to the lycans side, wrapping around his torso beneath his arms, before the blades finally impale him through the back like trained assassins. Now directly in front of death, blood seeps from Yamaguchis’ mouth as the last little bit of his soul begins to leave him.

Your time has come Senshu Yamaguchi.. Your soul is now mine for the taking

Beaten and bleeding, Senshu holds his head down, but a frown manages to sneak onto his face. It is not one of sadness or anger though. it seems to exude, determination

"...no..."

The God of War then brings his large pitch black hands to the sides of Deaths cranium.

" YOUR soul is MINE!!"


Suddenly, Senshu's ebon flowing soul ceases its secretion and starts to flow back inside of his body. Bursts of energy fly through the air and the completely white area begins to rumble as a struggle for dominance begins and soon reaches its climax. Death's chosen appearance befogs as it is slowly sucked into Senshus own body. Yamaguchis’ greed is so powerful that it actually manages to overwhelm Death itself with corruption. The son of Cassius has now managed to take death for himself in an incomprehensible act of greed, and create a new era for the entire universe. As soon as Death is completely infused into the greedy espada, he falls to his knees and white ash created from every person the warrior has slaughtered swirls around him. It then sticks to his skin so that he may constantly be reminded of his sins and Senshu is once again overcome by darkness. Only now...he can hear everything around his corpse in Hueco Mundo...

As Louis gazes upon the Las Noches castle, Hair completely engulfs senshus body and his skull and skeletal structure change completely. The hollow hole located where his heart should be grows large and black blood seeps out of it, the corpse now resembles a large 'werewolf' like creature. After this happens, Von Herrmann turns around, seeming to notice something isn't quite right. As Louis ponders what to do, the large hollow hole almost as soon as it formed begins to shrink until it closes up completely. The closed eyelids on the body suddenly flap open like blinds on a window and it goes into convulsions as if it is having a seizure. Louis then fires a gran rey cero with Senshus own blood and the corpse’s eyes look at its stomach in bewilderment as if it has come back to life. Just as the cero prepares to hit, a bold golden light streams from the eyes and mouth of senshus corpse and a colossal golden energy discharges from its body, ascending high into the artificial sky, blocking the attack. The energy is so powerful that it actually breaks through the dome over las noches and into the permitted release area of espada ranked four and above. Like a baby's foot kicking against its mother’s stomach, something seems to be poking the inside of the segunda released torso of senshus corpse. Seconds later, a short blade made of some sort of sharpened stone attached to what seem to be wolf claws for a hilt, bursts through the corpses belly and the bone spike it is impaled on. In kind, another blade identical to the first would do the same, soon followed by ghostly white arms and the top of a bald head. these deathly white arms push down on senshus body to lift up a man who steps out of the body completely, now floating in the midst of the golden energy, and as soon as he does, a sea of spiritual pressure washes down upon the whole of las noches, causing the several low leveled hollow audience to kneel down and bow before this mighty figure, unable to hold up their own bodies.



The God Commeth: The End Begins
The bodily shell of Senshus corpse squirms around like a worm impaled on a stick. It hisses and moans until the tall figure glances down at it and the thing disintegrates into nothingness as figure hovering above slowly and regally floats down to the sands below. The figure stands at the same height senshu was before release, 6'7 1/2, and only slightly more toned and muscular. A tribal marking, Redder than the thickest blood goes down the majority of his upper body and up to his face. On this face is the same scar sesnshu had, as well as a black goa-tee placed in the same location of senshus old mask fragment. On his forearms are golden guards wrapped in chains and beneath these is a blood red cloth that starts at the top of the forearm and ends at the knuckles. At the top of the right guard is a gold plate that snakes up his arm to another larger plate on his shoulder with ancient designs on them. These same guards cover his shins with the same, chains, and designs. Around his waist there is a golden belt that is attached to a long, tattered, leather red loin cloth with golden tribal markings on it. Most noticeable however, aside from his blindingly white skin, is the fact that this being has no hollow hole. Despite these significant changes however, it is chillingly apparent that this man, no this entity, is in fact, Senshu Yamaguchi...


After Senshu lands on the ground, the enormous output of energy dissipates into his body and a radial blast of pressure surges throughout las noches, vaporizing the same low level arrancar that had been forced to bow to their knees. The being formerly known as the segunda opens his mouth to speak with a booming deep voice, similar to his old one, but more similar to the way he used to speak before joining the yakuza.

“I...Have...Ascended..."

Senshu opens his eyes and glares directly at Luis with his transcendental greenish brown irises.

"Do not approach me Louis Von Herrmann or you will surely fall. I no longer desire to live among the likes of the espada or maintain this so called 'segunda' position. I have reached a new level of being far surpassing the limits hueco mundo would hold against me. you can have this rank of mine, and claim it knowing that you defeated the old senshu yamaguchi...Before i could not understand for what purpose i had grown ill, even though i knew why . However at this moment, as i stand before you and all the sands in hueco mundo, it has all become clear to me. My body was evolving, acting as a cocoon for the greatness the..royalty that would later emerge. Louis von Herrmann. I told you once before that there was no hope of you ever reaching my level... it would seem that has not changed. What stands before you is the antecedent of a God. What stands before you is the new Senshu Yamaguchi. And the difference in our power is greater than that of heaven and hell..."

The God of War sheathes his blades on his back and begins to slowly walk away from las noches.
