The day was beautiful, quiet, and serene. The countryside in this part of the country was quiet, beautiful, and much more peaceful than the bumbling city that Jack had seen more often than not. At least it was until a pair of matte Black Ducati 1299 S's tore down the highway, going way over the speed limit and looked to be racing. Their riders, one much larger and filled out as a heavier set man, the other of equal stature but thinner in build, were wearing matching black clothes and helmets. They rode in tight formation, making tight turns on corners and definitely being dangerously close to suicidal in the speeds which they attacked them. It was certainly a sight to behold as what looked like two experienced racers having fun. They covered the ground quickly and when they finally neared their destination they began to slow their speeds.
They approached the small village going about 40 mph and then slowed to a stop at the outskirts. The traditional style Japanese houses were nice on the outside, their building quite authentic and very much adding a relaxing aura to this place. He sighed as they finally parked their bikes on the outskirts of town. Setting down his kickstand, he activated the anti-theft and anti-tampering device on the bikes, a pair of beeps coming from each one of them as their lights flashed. That would make it nigh impossible for any would be thief to even touch the bikes without getting a nasty surprise. Something he'd done to the bikes to make them much more secure. Jack stepped off his bike and the other rider did the same. The other's rider's motions were fluid, but as where Jack took off his helmet, he made no motion to do so. Jack took a deep breath, noticing the cleanliness of the air, and the way it smelled fresh. Like real farmland. It was slightly nostalgic the effect, but was quickly silenced by Jack's mind before other memories of those times could come forth. He looked back at the other rider and spoke in a friendly tone.
"Alright Jarvis, this is our destination. Came here to get you some special gifts,"
"Gifts sir? By what do you mean?"
"Let's just say a guy I met in college lives here, best robo-tech in the world. He's got some stuff that I'm looking for,"
"Ah, then by all means let us meet this man. I am certain we'll have a nice chat,"
"Heh, you're getting better Jarvis,"
"Thank you sir," The other figure nodded slightly and they began walking into the village. Jack looked about them and noted the more traditional garb of Japan's past. This place was remote, and it was peaceful. People here looked quite content to live this simple life. He did however notice some of the people living here with cybernetic prosthetic appendages, usually arms or legs. So he'd continued without Jack. That was good. One of the things that Jack had hoped to accomplish, Yuri had accomplished on his own. Made sense. He was certainly a damn good mechanic. He smiled as he walked up to a small tea shop that he knew the man frequented, taking a seat and ordering in fluent Japanese a small cup of their finest tea. And he began to wait for Yuri to arrive.
