In a world of endless sand it was rare that you came across anything of interest. Within Heuco Mundo there was but one forest, and one structure, and then an endless sea of sand and madness. And smack dab in the middle of that vastness was a pink haired little miscreant out on the hunt for something more interesting than sand or monsters. Things had been set in motion for the little Nurse recently, but change was slow, and nothing would stop the girl's lust for adventure.
She'd left the confines of Las Noches and ventured out in the sea of sand, a place she knew quite well even though she barely remembered any of her time out here. But this odd little Arrancar had a knack for finding things of interest out in Heuco Mundo, and the battlefield she'd stumbled upon was something new. Well kind of new, Hollows killing one another was quite common but there was something different here, but there was something about the feel here that caught her attention.
This wasn't a battlefield but the remnants of one. One corpse, a large Hollow breed laid lifeless before her, and she walked past it uninterested, the dead couldn't enjoy her love or be saved, so they were merely eyesores to her. Next she noticed another smaller creature, but it wasn't a Hollow. She tilted her head as she observed the body before her, her feet carrying her ever closer to it. It was humanoid, a rarity here but not unheard of, especially considering Dahlia looked mostly human herself.
But that feeling she got...like a predator sniffing at a taste scent on the wind. Her lips peeled back a bit, creating an aggressive grin as she stood over the man. She'd seen their world before, and smelled them there, but his scent here in Hueco Mundo was very unique. This man was a meatbag. "Oh ho? Lookit what Dahlia found!" She said, bending down onto her knees and holding one of her arms to keep them in place.
He was bigger than Dahlia certainly, she could tell that enough from the length of his prone form. But he didn't seem bulky or heavy, in fact he kinda reminded her of those people in Karakura town. His form was fairly bruised up though, had he fought this big dead beast? He certainly looked impressive for a meatbag, his physical health was quite high even by her well informed medical opinion, but could meatbags even see Hollows? She'd walked around that town once or twice and only the stuffy man and that Shinigami had ever paid her any attention.
His injuries certainly appealed to the sadistic little Arrancar, lots of things she could fix if he woke up. But it was the idea of treating a meatbag that really intrigued her, normally she wouldn't waste time patching up food, but even the scatterbrained Dahlia was curious how he got here. "Oooooy?" She questioned, the volume of her voice reasonable at the moment. If she started screaming at him, he'd either wake up furious or worse, more Hollows would come and pester her for food. She set her bonesaw down for a moment, the cruel medical weapon standing tall in the sand. With her now free fingers reached forward and poked the purple-haired man in the side, her tiny little finger pressing against supple flesh.
Well he felt warm, and she could see the rise and fall of his chest. Diagnosis? Probably still alive. She leaned forward a bit and poked him a few more times. "Hey, hey meatbag!" Had he collapsed from the Hollows touch? Or maybe he'd spent all his stamina somehow managing to kill the thing. "Dahlia wants you to get up now! Rise and Shine? Gettup already!" She went through various terms to try and rouse the man from his stupor. It seemed the gentle touch wasn't working, so the girl gave up on what little patience she had.
Curling her fingers into a fist, she lifted her hand up and brought it back down hard on the man's gun. "Dahlia Wake-up Special, Gut Punch!" She cackled as she connected her slender hand into his gut, hitting the man with enough force to feel like somebody his own size had done so.
