" Sugoi! " As of a week ago sugoi had become the word of the day, everyday. In particular it was used in reference to the mighty lavender hued wisteria that called this place home. Practically every time the anodized silver haired, cypress green-blue eyed alien caught sight of it he'd shout the word.
This being one of those times.
Thick soled geta clipped and clopped across the heavily worn stone as he rushed through the courtyard towards the towering colossus of its kind. Just like a child, he reached out with gloved hand readying himself to grasp a handful of the vines with swinging in mind before he came to a rather sudden stop. With as little attempt to hide the act, he looked from one end of the shrine to the next for any of the ones that would most certainly scold him for "using" the "poor" tree like that.
No Sekai?
No Seiichiro?
No practically everyone?
Engrossed in his tunnel vision, he'd completely overlooked the small clusters of visitors that were now staring at him in absolute silence. " Ehehe.." Arm rose above his head, and fingers scratched at the back of his crown. " G-gomen, gomen. " A nervous chuckle followed by several near-ground-headbutting bows set the spectators back to their well wishing and fortune bringing prayers. " Phew. These humans sure are rigid.. " Couldn't they see that he was just a poor General warped into this world after a jailbreak?
Disappointedly he collapsed into a seated position against the tree and used his folded arms as cushioning for his head. " Sometimes I feel like you're the only one that understands me, Wisteria-sama. " Barrier breaking hazel hues gazed up into the thick branches as they creaked. " I know I shared my past with you, but that was an accident. " A rush of crisp, cool air rolled over the shrine and sent the vines and leaves rustling. " Hey! I didn't mean to! That golem thing startled me, and I didn't have my gloves yet! " Fingers wiggled to display the nifty black gloves Sekai had given him; gloves which he'd cut the index, thumb and pinkie off of. " And it's not like I didn't take on the burden of your past in recompense. In comparison, my life must have been a walk beside the stars! "
Utter chaos struck his senses, overpowering the peace and calm he'd been soaking up for almost a week. The shattering of that peace also shattered the pleasantly soft features of his face, replacing them with harsher, deeper lines one would expect a multi-millenia old tool of war to possess. What was that? The feeling of absolute destruction wormed its way into everything, and even sent the hairs on the back of his neck on end.
Beneath the shadow of cast from his hood and the tree eyes rapidly leaped from visitor to visitor, picking apart their auras in order to discern which among them harbored such destructive tendencies. " Which one of yo-" Words were cut off mid mutter as his eyes fell upon the oddest possible individual. Wrapped in an invisible blanket of blue, a young girl stood at the center with hair the hue of the faintest star.
They made them that small?
Like an apparition he vanished from sight, and as quietly appeared upon the thickest branch of his only friend. " Cane you move these-" He looked down at the trunk while pointing a a thick bundle of vines obscuring his view, "Please? Thank you. " With a soft pat, he knelt and peered through the small opening provided for him. For now he'd just watch this little minion of destruction before casting judgement, but should she attempt to harm even a single flower...

Kyoufuu whistled in excitement.
