The halls of white echoed each clicking clack. A walk drawing him closer to the smooth large slabs of stone barricading the way to the Throne Room. Not even once has he approached the deemed King of Hueco Mundo in all his time within Las Noches. Which were brief moments only when it was truly required of him. And not even once has he gone to the King with any sort of request like many of the other Arrancar’s. There was no need for him to.
Until now.
He approached outside the impressive doors, near blank eye’s flashing with curiosity. Now that he was here, he was curious to see what laid upon the other side. Only has he heard rumors of the powerful man behind those slabs of stone. The Arrancar choose his time carefully through such gossip, preferring to catch him alone than with a crowd of bodies and plaguing stupidity. There was a reason why he avoided the palace. A weak cuddly outward appearance like his drew unwanted attention. This was one of those times he cursed it.
Thisbee snorted, the thought quickly passing overhead as he entered through the doors into the grand room. And for first glance, he was un-doubtly impressed.
Erasmus, sat upon his throne, a furrow on his eyebrows in what seemed to be deep reflection. It was dark, much to his liking. An eerie mist of steam trickled across the floor, wrapping around the two grand pillars that lined each side. The eternal moon glimpsed its cold rays through open windows behind his King, adding the right amount of cold light to complete the intimidating room.
And for him? He found it beautifully comforting.
His long inhuman legs strides in slowly, the male drinking in every detail for his first time visit. Graceful and dignified, the Arrancar stopped a distance from the steps to the throne, a hand over his nonexistent heart for the deep bow to the King of Hollows.
“I apologize for disturbing you at such a time. I’m not very…social, and prefer to avoid the crowds.” He explained lightly with his soft voice, keeping his eyes to the floor in respect until he would be told otherwise. “I have a something to ask of you. But if I have inconvenienced you in any way, just say the word and I shall take my leave, my King.” It would be of no loss to him if he was turned away. He would just have to look somewhere else.
However, he had to admit, things would be much easier this way. As fascinating the Living World was, his presence caused too many problems. Thisbee needed at least something akin to a good lead. If King Erasmus knew anything about anything, then he would be most grateful to it. He was hoping that his highness would be able to answer his questions. If the rumors proved to be true in any way, the man had been able to grant almost all requests that he had felt like admitting. Perhaps this was one was too far of a stretch, perhaps not. It was worth a shot however.
