Can we drop the zealotry?

So, I've tried to be pretty open and honest about my feelings regarding this whole bullying scenario. I've been here for almost two years now, I've had my fair share of scrapes with the staff. But, it's never become anything serious or actionable. I've never really tried to cause many issues here, I rarely troll but I always speak my mind. 

I thought BG was a place where if we had an opinion it wouldn't be stifled. It wouldn't be questioned or silenced and it would be open to the interpretation of the community as a whole(Not just one person). I thought that I would never have to complain about this, until today. I entered one of the 4 or 5 bullying threads now on here and I posted this. 

Basically, staff knows its their fault for doing nothing. The people who apparently trolled bri know they were wrong if they did do it, the people who turn the other way when people get bullied on here know they're wrong too. Everyone is to blame, not just two people or the staff as a whole. The problem lies solely in the fact that everyone let it happen and did nothing to stop it. 

There's a great deal of questions that I don't see anyone asking.

1. Why did it take a staff member leaving for this to become such a huge problem?

2. Where was this enthusiasm for anti-bullying when new members of the site were being harassed and downplayed for their character ideas?

3. Where is this enthusiasm for getting shit done any other time of the year?

My post was hidden, I then posted and asked why my post was deleted. It was hidden, i posted again asking why my posts were being deleted. Once again, my post is hidden. Finally after multiple posts are on, I log onto skype to ask tokiyo about why this was happening. I have a request from a new person, then tokiyo says this.

I hid the subsequent post for the same reason. You are not the only person to have had a post hidden on them, literally dozens of posts have this happen depending on the circumstances and seriousness of the issue.
Our job is deciding what is and is not appropriate, I apologize if you feel I was far too hasty in hiding your post but we disagree there. There are many avenues for you to express a concern at this, but the same thread is not the place for it.

So, basically Jian can read a thread and anything he sees that may have the potential to derail a thread he can just hide on a whim. If Jian reads a post and he thinks it may be "incendiary" or might cause a sidebar discussion...well he can just hide it. I don't see this happening anywhere else. There's open trolling in multiple threads, staff doesn't do shit about it. People get openly trollled in cbox, staff doesn't do shit about it. Staff itself is getting "apparently" openly harassed and bullied and staff doesn't do shit about it. But, I post a picture and HOLY SHIT ring the warning bells and round up the torches I may burn the whole forum down with a single picture. 

This kind of Nazi mentality is something that starts off with good intentions and quickly snowballs into bullshit territory. There was no reason to delete that post, it was on topic and blunt. Just because Jian sees something one way, doesn't mean the entire forum will see it that way. Him being able to hide posts on a whim because of his sole interpretation is bullshit. His logic is bullshit, and after weeks of staff doing very little to change anything. Me posting a picture is an issue? I should be able to say whatever I want as long as it doesn't hurt someones feelings. If it was really an issue, then shun the owner of the site would tell us we don't have the freedom to say what we want here.

There's only two rules on BG, and if there's more you should quit being lazy and update the rules list.

Here I'll break them down for you, since the new staff seems to not know what they are. 

1. The first and most important is that we do not permit harassment of any kind. No matter your opinions on someone else or their lifestyle you are not permitted to lash out and harass them. To define harassment, we mean any behavior which impedes their ability to smoothly enjoy the community.

Hey Jian, you're impeding my ability to smoothly enjoy the community by posting pictures relevant to my opinion on the matter. You have no right, staff or otherwise to throw your mod power around and claim its to maintain thread integrity when people are literally calling the staff fuck ups a few posts up from me. So, by that logic you as staff just violated the first rule of the forum.

2. The next is that plagiarism is unacceptable on Bleach Gotei, no matter the source or circumstances. You are not permitted to steal characters or writing from this website, our players, or other writers off of Bleach Gotei.

We do all come from diverse sets of backgrounds and circumstances. So, where Jian may see something one way. Another person may agree with me and comment on it. Another person may laugh and give their own opinion and so on and so forth. You have no clue what impact my posts will make on someone else, and you jumping the gun and hiding my posts just cause you see something one way is unfair to me as a member of this community. You going and hiding my complaints about it, is just you trying to make staff look less like nazi's for doing so. You trying to move this conversation to skype instead of letting the community see what you're doing is shady. 

I don't appreciate this, I don't appreciate how staff lets shit fly all the time then gets overly zealous during the massive drama periods. I will not be subject to censoring just cause the overzealous staff want to save face. I believe I'm owed an apology, I broke no rules and yet staff took action against me just cause they're high strung over bri leaving.
