I got bored so I decided to do this... Now that I'm looking at it, I'm not so convinced it's a good idea, but I'll post it anyway.
Greetings, fellow Soul Reapers! I am Ketsueki Ryuu, lieutenant of the Fourth division and I am here to help you utilize your spells to the maximum, so that you can gain the upper hand in any fight. On a side note, this guide is only meant for those who excel at the art of Kido (which you have probably already guessed from the headline), so those of you who simply aren't much good at it, can go punch each other senseless or whatever you do in order to train yourselves. Anyway, as I was saying, a clever use of your arsenal of magic tricks can mean the difference between life and death. Some of you may already know that certain spells work extremely well together, but I'm afraid that the majority of my colleagues simply unload a barrage of semi- random barrage of Bakudo and Hado upon their enemies and hope for the best. But don't worry, deluded folk! I am here to help you discover the unlimited possibilities of Shinigami magic!
Combos
Spells: Tenran + Shitotsu Sansen/Hyapporankan
Effect: Blast your enemies into a wall and pin them to it!
Pros and cons: Fairly high chance of success, due to Tenran's wide range, but this combination can be quite taxing to the user and may require both spells to be cast without an incantation.
Spells: Hyapporankan+ Gaki RekkÅ
Effect: You thought dodging any one of these was hard? Well, try them both then!
Pros and cons: Difficult to perform , but if done correctly, ensures an almost certain hit.
Spells: Sekienton + Kyokko (a high enough Reiatsu perception also helps)
Effect: I can't see you, you can't see me, but I can sense you and you can't sense me. Perfect for both surprise attacks and timely escapes.
Pros and cons: Easy to use, since both spells are relatively low- level but again would most probably require skipping the incantations.
Spells: Byakurai/ Raikoho + any water- based tech
Effect: Water+ electricity never gets old.
Pros and cons: Predictable, but still effective if it lands.
General tips
Do not try to block a Cero with a Hado spell of your own unless it is something like Raikoho or stronger.
Tsuriboshi can also serve as a quite effective barrier against hand- to hand fighters, since its springy surface is quite difficult to break through unarmed.
Seki is the bane of all hand- to- hand fighters, but be wary of overusing it, since it can really drain your stamina if applied as a sole defence.
Placing a Kido barrier on an opponent's blade, bow string or trigger, can shortly render these weapons next to useless, but would require extreme proximity, not to mention the fact that it can be broken through with enough determination.
Gochūtekkan can also serve as quite an effective shield against lightning- based attacks, if you place it on yourself.
Sho can be an extremely useful spell, in spite of its low number. It is perfect for tripping a charging opponent, deflecting projectiles, or even pushing an opponent's weapon out of the way.
Ok, I'm out of ideas. If anybody wants to contribute to the cause, feel free to.
