We're singing I believe that lovers should be chained together and thrown into a fire with their songs and letters, and left there to burn. Left there to burn in their arrogance.

Personally, I never once used Markdown. I'm most used to inputting CSS and HTML straight into my posts, so if it's possible to utilize those two by default in BBCode mode, I'm a happy camper. About skins and such, I don't mind either way as long as it's clean and organized.

P sure those who frequently use skype will be more thankful with the introduction of similar handy stuff for coding.
Mono is cool too just cuz gray and neutrals are ♥
(p.s. Tova we would be grateful as long as we don't get a shitty text editor like we do now aka the one that puts random coding in, changes formatting all around, and puts unwanted spaces errwhere <3)
(p.p.s. If we have such great coders here why aren't we just downloading a free theme and tweaking it)

Unfortunately, the world is going the way of the WYSIWYG editor whenever possible. People are always going to appeal to the lowest common denominator because that's how businesses survive and do what they're meant to do: make money.
Which means that, no. The editor will not get along with many of the power users we have. I'll see what I can do with the much more customizable CKEditor, of course, but things will never really be power user-friendly again.
