Her name was Suzumi and she wanted to be a pop idol. Though she was fairly cute, she was not particularly talented in any field. Her personality did not shine in any specific way. But still, she wanted to be a pop idol. She wanted it so bad that she got into the occult and tried to make a contract with a demon. She wanted all of her rivals gone so that the local studio would have no choice but to pick her. It was only her wildest dreams that she thought it would actually work. She didn't know it but someone dark heard her prayer one year ago. One by one, the girls in front of her began having accidents or vanishing. At first she wanted to believe that it was coincidence. After all, there's no such thing as demons. Then this entity began to follow her around. When Suzumi's dad yelled at her for the way she dressed, he was crushed at work under steel beams. When a girl at school made fun of her for being cursed, she fell from the roof during lunch. The insane guilt from it all, after one year of everyone around her dying, had finally driven Suzumi to suicide.
This wasn't a usual game for Tyrant. The scenario could have gone any number of ways. She might have begun to think that this power made her invincible. That cocky self gratified attitude would've spoiled everything. She could have been completely apathetic to the situation. But no. Not Suzumi. She actually liked people and wanted to perform for them. It all likely came from some reality TV show where a rather plain girl was transformed into a pop celebrity. Plain Suzumi likely found inspiration and thought she could pass that on to another little girl. The twisted horror on her face when she realized that a moment of jealous weakness brought about the deaths of so many- that was all the dark being over her shoulder needed to know this was right.
On that night, Suzumi stood on the roof of the local television studio where she was going to be an idol. This is where she said her prayer for all those girls to be taken away from here. She just wanted a chance at her dream. She didn't want for anyone else to get hurt. This was the best place for her to end it. To atone for those girls and her dad. She could almost feel their hands as they pushed on her back. Their voice screamed for her to jump. They cussed and hissed at her from beyond. Jump. Jump! It was like meat sizzling on the grill to the hollow. He waited to salivating anticipation for the meal the finally leap for his table.
With tear soaked cheeks and closed eyes Suzumi finally took the plunge. Her screams rang through the air like the first bite of a meal. Sweetened and smoked ham, aged for a year. A long wait for a delectable meal but so very much worth it. Tyrant's claws dug into his roof top perch before he took off after her. His mouth opened into a curdling roar as he swooped in to take his prize. He could already taste her scent as they neared. Just another few feat and she'd be in his mouth.
His white hollow mask snapped closed on... nothing. At the last second something else had swooped in and snatched his meal. Something small and black. Tyrant regained altitude and circled back above the cityscape. On a roof not far away he saw it. A dragon. Not a hollow; it didn't have a mask. A literal dragon about twelve feet long from head to tail. Tyrant was briefly taken aback by the sight. Despite his current situation in life, he never thought that there were real dragons out there. The shock and curiosity were quickly washed away though. As the beast had stolen what was rightfully his.
With a mighty roar Tyrant dive bombed the roof of the building in the hopes crushing the creature beneath his obvious weight difference. His incredibly long tail slashed violently across the rest of the debris as he stomped the top two floors of the building into rubble.
