After having come in to white quartz desert of Hueco Mundo through his Garganta, Tyrant set off for the one place in this world he actively tried to avoid. The ivory monolith that plagued the desert surface- Las Noches. In Tyrant's humble opinion, this place represented everything wrong with Hueco Mundo and the Hollow species. The Arrancar as well. A system, a set of governing rules, and beast that were trying to be more like men. The entire thing seemed so backwards. Hollow were natural beasts possessed by instinct and the desire to feed. They weren't suppose to fit into a class system. Even as Arrancar, their bodies rejected their more human way of life. The holes in their bodies spoke to the things they had lost. The fact that they reverted to beastly bodies when they released their powers showed their true nature just beneath the skin.
All of that said, the dragon hollow had found himself in need of something from the Arrancar. Particularly from the one known as the tercera espada, Sobek Septicemia. This white haired, dark skinned Arrancar of rumor was known to be the smartest being in Hueco Mundo. Capable of using an understanding of the world that no other hollow had. He had resources and was backed by the King of Hueco Mundo. Well, that didn't really say all that much. But, there was literally no one else to use for this situation.
After exploring the perimeter of a certain fortress manor in the forests of Karakura town, the hollow came to the conclusion that there was no effective way to infiltrate the estate in his current form. Make no mistake that it was certainly physically possible for the dragon to simply dive bomb the brick or mortar. With the mist that concealed the building from physical sight and the people inside from having their reiatsu detected, this attack could be in vain. Worse still, he could soar right into a dangerous trap.
For these reasons, the dragon decided to do something a little more... unorthodox. Shinigami were known to place their souls in puppet human bodies. Gigai, they were called. These bodies allowed them to wander the human world and appear to be nothing more than humans. This was useful for long term missions where shinigami get posted in cities to await attacks and it made human exposure to reiatsu a minimal problem. It was an ideal infiltration unit, even more so if you considered a hollow in disguise.
This was what Tyrant wanted. He wasn't aware of a hollow ever doing such a thing so his only chance was to go to the so called scientist of the Espada. If he was what the propaganda made him out to be, then there was a possibility that this could succeed. You couldn't really say that this was a plan, just an experiment with the possibility of new tools as the reward.
Even flying it took the dragon nearly two straight days of travel to finally reach the dome and another day of straight travel to reach the three towers reserved for the highest ranking espada. The absurdity of the size of that place was baffling to the dragon. If he were walking through it, he was sure it would take over three days to cross the diameter.
He finally flew to near the top where a window looked out upon the desert. Into the lab, Tyrant's eyes quickly adjusted. Large glass tubes were filled with green preserving liquid and the remains of specimen. Items and tubes and screens that he couldn't begin to fully comprehend as he was were scattered about the place. The vaulted ceiling made for enough room for the dragon to physically fit but the cords and wires running across the ceiling made it a very narrow fit. There was little doubt that this was the right place but where was the Arrancar at?
