Snowflakes fell upon a polar bear, white falling upon white, frozen in their particular patterns as it fell upon the cold body. It consumed and devoured, dropping upon for all too short a time; dying as it fell upon the world below. They floated there, languidly falling down, carried by liquid as the shards cascaded down. Flecks of white upon a world, decorating in silence according to the unknown creator. Heat had gathered in the core of the world, reactions exuding the energy needed to keep the whole world from merely fading into a cold and motionless husk.
Munin blinked. The glassy structure was a strange invention, to be sure.
The android stood back up from where it had crouched to examine the peculiar worlds. All crafted specifically, reflecting a world, no, an image that the crafter chose to represented. With a tilt of its head, Munin smiled, turning towards the entrance of the peculiar store. Humans desired so many little baubles, what they called art, with no particular use. Representations, all of them, all of something that the author had intended to say or communicate. But yet, they still purchased them, still deemed them valuable, still thought that they really held anything.
A pointless exercise, all of it. Yet… Munin turned back, frowning as it glared back at the crystalline baubles. They were still so entrancing, in the way only a useless thing could be. One could take them as a metaphor for any number of concepts, a teaching tool. Perhaps they were not as useless; lacking inherent value but having value based on humanity’s own particulars?
That would be a thought.

Munin stepped out of the store, glass bauble carried in a plastic bag. A useless item was still something that Munin could find some use out of.
It was an interesting challenge, wasn’t it?
But still something to distract from the doom that would arrive in a month’s time.
Flaring out a bit of pressure, Munin began to make its way through the people, continuing its search for assistance. Something would come up eventually.
All it took was a little shake.
