Hello... Well... Never done one of these before. Can't say it'll be something regularly updated. Mostly this will just be a random place to post those things too long for my Status. Blog Blog Blog, Post Post Post...
Hey! Since I'm doing a grand opening for this thread, here's something I did today that I thought I'd share:
What is it? A strange mutant creature? A failed science experiment? Nope... it's a Nutella cake...
Hi. I'm Alexander V. Terada, member of First Division. When I've had a long hard day fighting unspeakable undead creatures from the deepest shadowy realms, I like to sit back and relax with a bit of simple, easy to make home cooking...
Ingredients?
1 Egg
3 Level Dessert Spoons of Sugar (Caster or granulated... I think either works)
What's a Dessert Spoon? Well, I don't know if it's different in different places. It's like a normal spoon, like the sort you'd eat cereal with. One size up from a teaspoon, one down from what I would know as a Table Spoon (British) So... as I was saying...
The egg and the Sugar
4 Lvl Dessert Spoons of Nutella
5 Lvl Dessert Spoons of Plain White Flour
2 Lvl Dessert Spoons of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 Lvl Dessert Spoons of Baking Powder
Preparing time? Don't know, how good are you? I'd say about 5-10 minutes...
How to make? Get the Egg, Sugar and Nutella in a bowl, vigorously whisk up until it's a nice singular goop... then give it a bit more of a whisking... You know, until it's well mixed...
Add the Flour, Cocoa and Baking Powder and fold (Gently stir) until it's all mixed together into a consistent brown sludge. Put into a microwavable cup/mug, and put into microwave...
What's a microwave? It's a sort of science oven the Fourth Division have been working on. If you are a young person or don't know how to make the microwave work, please ask a member of Fourth, a Parent or Guardian to do this for you...
Heating time, I'd suggest 45 seconds for a standard 1000 Watt oven... 50 seconds for an 800 Watt... and for other Watts... erm... improvise...
I overdid mine (50 seconds at 1000 Watts), making it a little dry, but still nice. This was easily rectified by a bit of single or double cream. Up to you if you want to add any... I hope you enjoy...
