It was a beautiful summers day, with the wind blowing - but not to the point that it was unbearable. The trees swayed back and forth, almost as if they were dancing for Yoshikazu. The sight of natures dance put a large grin on his face, this may have been the perfect end to such a stressful week. He had taken his final exams, which were nothing to worry about - he would do fine on them, but he was just so damn paranoid that he was afraid that the teachers might decide, "This bastard is to smart, lets count his answers wrong. A lot of fuss had been going on about who should become the new head of house, in the KÅsa House. Debates had been held all week at the estate, and the elders had to decide on a verdict. It would be difficult for anyone to make a choice of a leader, if they were being harassed by multiple people. The other house members assumed it was favoritism towards young Yoshi, when he was chosen for the position of Oyabun. "THE KID IS TO YOUNG! HE CAN'T LEAD ANYONE!!!!" That little group of three, which would barely be called a crowd - had been bitching about Yoshi at every meeting this week.
Of course Yoshi was young, which in some cases would mean that he was incapable of being the head of a house. But Yoshi didn't assume it was just because of his age. He was a very powerful kid, and he assumed the others were just jealous of his power - because he was half most of their age, and had double their power. At any rate, they would just have to get over it - Yoshi was head now, and he didn't plan on anything else happening. After a small speech, Yoshi had calmed down the rowdy members of the house. It was interesting how they could go from being a group of assholes one moment, to a group of followers... within two minutes tops.
The sun was peering over the landscape, sending anything into an inferno. Small children were crowded around an anthill, as they held a magnifying glass over it - burning the poor creatures. Yoshi disapproved of this, because he thought no creature should be destroyed - if it was innocent. He was not the type of kid that killed insects or amphibians, he was always studying, and practicing violin, and participating in adult conversations with members of his family. He hesitated for a while... he did not want to intervene with the children's fun, but he could not stand to see small creatures be picked on by those that are bigger. If the kids wanted to play God, they would need to play a videogame or something, something that wasn't actually harming someone/something. Yoshi jumped up, and casually strolled over to the children. "You know - those ants never did anything to hurt you. So why do you torture them? All living creatures are beautiful, and should never be subject to torment from another being. Learn to tolerate these creatures, whether they are pests or not - for it will breed you into a better person, and sculpt your mindset for the better."
Yoshi was pretty convincing, and he had a way with words, which is probably why the kids apologized about murdering the ants, and went on their ways. Now back on the bench, he sat and thought. I think I may have just successfully spread the idea of tolerance to those children.... KÅsa House was all about tolerance of other beings, and not destroying them. Being the head of the house meant that he had to enforce such ideologies to his subordinates, but he also taught another concept to them. That tolerance only goes so far, and that anything that becomes a nuisance on society... should be put to rest. Whether or not they accepted this thought was beyond Yoshi, he just wanted to get something different out there. But Yoshi forgot everything he was thinking about when he saw something in the distance. A young girl, not just young though - she was absolutely gorgeous. She was coming in his direction, maybe even to sit on the bench? Thoughts whirled through his head about the girl he had just laid eyes on, and he became very nervous.
