Won't go into to much detail, but in a PM I was asked where I'd be in the Sliding Scale of Shonen Protagonist. What is that? I can't seem to find it on Google, although I did find the Sliding Scale of Antagonistic Vileness, Anti-Heros, and Anti-Villians. But the internet has nothing on anime protagonist. So anyone have a good scale to work off of?

I know. There's I guess different types of Shonen Protagonist, and just like there's different levels / types of Anti-Hero's and Anti-Villains. There's different types/levels of Shonen Protagonists? I mean my character vaguely falls into both the Anti-Villain and Anti-Hero Spectrum. But I don't know where she'd fall as a Shonen Protagonist.
I think it might be the scale of optimism-to-cynicism. Like, you have your Naruto's in one end and your Light Yagami's on the other end. If that's the case, this might help!

Idk? I was asked when asked about how long Acid Touch stopped working on a dismembered Hollow Limb (since High Speed Regen grows an arm, not a whole nother body. There must be a point in time where that stops working); If said removed body parts disappear when a Hollow dies; and brought up that my Character (at least to NPC's) sometimes hunts and eats Hollows.
I was asked to read that, and ask myself where I lie in the Sliding Scale of Shonen Protagonists. I mean in context, you have a Plus, or a Shini that's a survivalist. You eat and use every part of your kill, since it might be your only chance to eat. But ... yeah that can be misconstrued as villainous behavior. But it makes sense for my character (that and I can see her doing it, as well as having acquired a taste for Hollows).
So it's less Cynicism-Optimism for the context I was asked. But that would be a good scale (thanks for the link btw ^_^.)
I think the question was in reference to the believability/realism of your character vs the Kubo and Kishimoto school of "too many cooks in the idea kitchen and wow this character's powers are a goddamn mess/clusterfuck".
Or, on a scale of, say, Shinji Ikari to Goku; Shinji being pretty normal in a fucked up universe and Goku being Undefeatable Protagonist Always Winning In The End.

Oh, not unbeatable by far. As a matter of fact, I'm going to be showcasing that pretty soon that I'm in no way invincible. And can quite easily get wrecked.
But contextually. There are Hollows of every Reiatsu level. A Soul with 60 Reitasu can possibly take out a Hollow between 73 Rei and lower. And a person who has little to no contact with society in its past. When it is able to kill something for sustenance isn't going to waste it (especially in that situation, like any survival setting, it might be your only kill / meal that day. So wasting it, is a bad idea). And getting a Zanpakuto, and taught to kill even more efficiently. NPC Trash Mobs are killable in battle (after all Shini / Powerful souls can accomplish it all the time). So the occasional eating of a kill is plausible. Even if it's a Hollow.
Doesn't mean she does it all the time (20 times in 126 years of unlife is very, very rare).
Edit:
But I guess I'm somewhere in the middle? Leaning towards Renji, but with a pretty fucked up history. So later on, strong / good powers. But never to the point that my character is untouchable, or can never be beaten / harmed (sure I'm learning Kaido, and will at Prestige be getting Regen. But still, doesn't stop myself from getting harmed, or harmed to the point I'm practically wrecked.)

I swear it wasn't me this time that burnt down the house. It was like this when I arrived ... and the barrel of oil spilt ... and the lighter magically fell onto it. But seriously, I didn't do it ^_^.
Seriously though. What's with the "My face when?"
I mean, it's not an average thing someone thinks about. But is still something, that has a degree of probability. With a great deal of infrequency, meaning it's not an all the time thing.
