Okay so talking with Frey, and we got to talking about Norse with Quincies not fitting into bleach and I really am a bit confused on that. I'll post my reasons why, but full story. Why does it "Not work in a Bleach Setting"? We've had character's with familiars made of Reishi, We have Summons, We have stat alteration, and other races using their races to use other races powers or a simulation of it.
And in Bleach itself we can't even get into since the second you have all the BS from the Wandenreich, you sacrifice the ability to say anything doesn't go in Bleach (other than for OP power mechanics, or not being fair to other players. Sure, but all of the members of that empire had rape powers, or things that were way to weird for RM normally.).
Now as for why I'm confused on the Norse not fitting Quincies:
1) Well they are Germanic (technically every one of their techniques, mythos, the setting of their Ruler, tools, etc. Are germanic or of germanic origin). The Norse hail from Germany (ancient, northern Germany, but still a thing).
and
2) While everything Quincy has germanic origins, they did spread around the world. Even though the backstory of Buzz-B shows a germanic setting. So the possibility of old ways, getting mixed of new ways could lead into a Nordic / Neo-Pagan Norse infusion of Quincy and Norse beliefs / culture. After all cultures impacting, merging, or assimilating others is a thing.
So if culturally Norse religion, culture, and habits were in places that heavily inspired Quincy everything. They were in a place where their cultures would interact and or merge in places (quite logical that it would happen), and in Bleach itself you have the most retarded, nonsensical BS for RM powers . Norse themes are tame by comparison and actually make sense compared to 99% of all the Wandenreich.
So yeah. If they where in a place where it could happen. Shared land and customs. And it's logical that it could happen. How is Norse themed Quincy not fitting in with Bleach / not doable? Since honestly when I eventually give the Quincy Race a go, Norse themed stuff sounds pretty freaking cool.
