FOREWORD:
Several small issues have accumulated that require rules changes in order to address. While both Quincy and Hollow Breeds will be affected, there are no changes to the 'System' and players as a whole will not be required to make any alterations. The majority of the other updates center around brushing up and clarifying the language of the rules, while not actually having any effect on gameplay.
Hollow Breeds
Regeneration and Hierro
Error correction
-Characters traditionally choose between Hierro and Regeneration at character creation. By dedicating a Custom Skill slot, characters may have both Hierro and Regeneration in their loadout.
-No character will be able to achieve Mastery in -both- of those skills. Earning Mastery in Regeneration will permanently cap the Hierro skill at Expert rank, or earning a Mastery in Hierro will permanently cap Regeneration at Expert rank.
-This standard will also apply to any characters that have skills that fulfill substantially similar purposes, such as Custom Skills that mimic the wound reduction of Hierro, et cetera.
-This rule was unintentionally left out of the re-write last Spring and language has been added to the Hollow Breed page to clarify.
Quincy
Kirchenlied / Kirchengebet
-Ginto is a Quincy specific skill that utilizes tubes filled with liquid reiryoku. The Offensive application of this skill is called "Kirchenlied" [Church Song]. Several Quincy players have voiced concern that Ginto has been substantially limited by only focusing on this one school, and so we've added on what we called "Kirchengebet" [Church Prayer] which is intended to serve as a Defensive school.
-In a manner similar to how Hollow Breeds choose to 'prefer' either Bala or Cero, Quincy will choose to prefer either Kirchenlied or Kirchengebet. The preferred choice will always operate at the indicated rank, and the second school will operate as if it were one rank lower, free of cost.
-At Grandmaster, both schools operate at the same level.
-Healing others and self-regenerative abilities ARE NOT covered by this skill. Anyone wishing to utilize something of that nature will require a Custom Skill.
Other Rules
Race Change Requests
-The length of time associated with the "Refund GP" portion of race changing has been shortened. Players may now request up to 50% of their GP per month. This was previously capped at 25% per month.
Other Rules Topics
-The "Character Life-Cycle" has been edited into the "Earning GP" Rules post so it will be more visible to new players.
-The location and specific style of this information will likely change in the future to fit better, but the contents will not.
-Characters may exchange 2 racial skills for 1 additional Custom Skill Slot
