Caz soared over the desert below him, he hated leaving Las Noches for long periods of time yet it was needed if he wished to hunt without killing those who might be loyal to him. His rule wasn't quite as solid as he would like at the moment. Everyday he continued to rule held on by fang and claw, more often having to fight to hold onto what was his then really ruling the lands. His skills growing stronger yet he still continued his quest for evolution, while there was plenty of pressure for him to remove his mask and become a arrancar yet he knew he was going to make it all the way to Vasto Lorde, the mythical level of hollow perfection. He remembered the first time he heard the stories of them, how they no longer hungered yet had consumed so many souls. How many had he consumed? Long ago he kept track yet now he had long forgotten how many had fused with him, did any of the other souls dream to be king before he consumed them? Did some small part of his joy for the position come from those within him? He lacked these answers and more.
He flew over a open swath of land, not a single quartz tree broke the surface of the sand sea, faintly Cazador sensed hollow below, he angled his wings and swooped downwards barely skimming just above the sand. His spearhead like tip to his tail dragging through the sand, suddenly a large worm hollow with neon blue eyes, the sand worm began to chase the king. Looking over his shoulder to see the worm following, the king set his feet down sliding along the sand as he spun, the deadly tail snaking it's way toward the worm. It slammed into the tip head first, it's powerful hierro protecting it from being impaled upon the end, balling his claws into a fist as he continued to turn slamming his fist into the side of the worm once more deflected by hierro. The beast cried out as it dove below the sand and out of Cazador's vision, the king closed his eyes reaching out for the worm's spiritual presence. He was not letting this meal flee, he sensed it coming toward him from below himself. Not having enough time to react the worm tried to swallow him in a single bite, it left it's mouth wide open as Cazador began to fall into it, a quick cero escaping from the king giving himself enough time to go airborne. His had felt the teeth of the hollow scrape along his hierro, he was thankful now that he had toughened up since he had become king.
Suddenly he could sense another presence nearby, a arrancar if he guessed correctly. What were they doing out in the desert? He wasn't surprised as he once was, after the encounter with Verbrennung he wasn't as surprised that some arrancar wandered the sands. The sand worm charged him once more, he braced for the impact of the large worm. His feet sliding through the sand as the two hollow clashed, his claws wrapped around the edge of the worms gaping maw, he held it open as the blood from his hands poured down his arms. The fangs of the worm had some bite to them it seemed, no matter the king had found where the hierro was thin on this beast the inside of it's mouth. His cero started to build the sickly green light charging quickly between his horns, the ichor traveled along his arms towards the cero, slowly they added themselves to the glowing ball. “A feast fit for a king..” The green light discharged through the worm, not ending at the tail of the beast, it continued out across the desert the sand parting around it leaving a trench dug across the barren waste. That would be a easy path for anyone to follow to the king, hopefully the nearby arrancar would be curious enough to come to the dragon. Happy with his worm killed it was time to feast upon the beast adding yet another soul to the collective that made up the young king of the desert.
