Fraccion of the Segunda Espada. The goal that Zettai had set for himself so long ago, when he had first learned of Las Noches and it's Hollow-Breed Empire, was in his grasp. To join a faction in such a position was very similar to having a purpose, as it was a responsibility to be held greater than one's own survival. Still, in order to fulfill that purpose, he would have to get stronger. Because of that, he was in the sands around Las Noches, with the ruins-in-repair always in sight. Although the winds blew quartz sand into and out of dunes and mounds, he felt a sense of peace in the desert. It was a sort of psuedo-stability, a foundation from which he could support himself but not necessarily dig his roots into.
As the full moon passed directly overhead, the light from it gave plenty for him to work with. The castle of Las Noches practically radiated with power due to the group of powerful beings that inhabited it, which drew in base hollow and gillian by the drove. They thought they could get a piece of the power, and their hunger consumed them. It suited Zettai just fine, however, as the arrancar needed a moving target. With thirty hollow in sight threatening to seize the castle, he smirked. "Zanjutsu, Cero and Bala, and Hakuda. Those are my killing skills. Hoho, Hierro, and Absolution Wave are my supplementary skills to weave into them. So let's see. I can focus on sets of ten, one for each killing skill split into three variants plus a wild card. That'll take care of all the hollow and keep me even."
Unlike most arrancar, Zettai was not specialized in any particular skill. By the time most had formed, their natural abilities had evolved to the point where it was their main killing skill, which resulted in a specialization to help bolster their strengths and cover their weaknesses. In Zettai's case, his ability was almost entirely meant for use with his other abilities. Because of that, he chose to train and maintain all of his skills equally to make sure he had all of his angles covered. "Let's begin, Herramienta." Humming on his back in response, the sensation tickled Zettai's skin as the sheath hung against his bare skin. Reaching up and drawing it, the weapon phased through it's container as the vessel splintered and shattered into countless shards before fading in the wind, taking it's strap with it.
Free from his fetters, he dug his bare toes into the sand and pulled his zanpakuto into a proper pose. "First up: Zanjutsu." Speaking aloud to confirm the plan to himself, he kicked off from the ground with his sonido. It was easier to pull off combos like this when there were many enemies. Reappearing in front of the closest hollow, he plunged Herramienta into the black creature's white face. As it shattered and scattered, a group converged upon him. Moments before they closed in and covered him completely, he tossed his sword into the air above them. Glowing with his trademark jade green, the cloak of energy converted into a sea-foam aura as the blade began to descend again before completely stopping in mid-air. Although they scratched and bit and tore at him, the horde of hollow could not hope to pierce his hierro.
With deliberate motions from his unscarred arm, Zettai guided his Zanpakuto through the air and sniped each hollow from above. Stabbing out and piercing into each of their masks, darting back and force as they writhed over him, squabbling over a chance to slash at him in vain, too distracted to notice their own doom. After the last had been purged, Herramienta's glow faded, causing the elaborate sword to resume dropping through the air. Deftly catching it in his right hand, Zettai smirked again. "Just the wild card left, and I'll move on to cero." Scanning the crowd of mad beasts, he looked for one to practice a new technique on. It was currently only a concept, but he was hoping to see it come to life. Because of the nature of it, it would require an opponent capable of actively engaging him. When training, Zettai referred to these more powerful opponents as 'demi-bosses'. Swinging his sword back and forth impatiently, he spread his reiatsu as a flame in an effort to find something interesting to fight just a little bit faster.
