Not that I support her, mind you, but I just need possible. I need to have the slightest bit of hope that our nation isn't stupid enough to set itself back 50 years.
If it's not one thing, it's another. Gotta verify it's legal for me to be here, as if all the shit I had to put in to apply for your damned school was not enough. Won't accept a learner's permit, won't accept a passport even though those are supposed to be good for at minimum five years after they expire, but now I have to take my birth certificate all the way up into Atlanta so you can make a copy, because that is the one fucking document I can't just scan and send through the net. I want to learn, motherfuckers. Let me.
This whole "call its allies for help!" horseshit in Sun/Moon can eat my ass like groceries and I have a dinner date with whoever thought of that so I can beat their knees and elbows in with a tire iron.

One of my friends decided to do a Nuzlocke run for their first time, and that's irritating him a lot, since it'll happen about 5-6 times every time he has to catch something.
It'd be a more unique feature if it wasn't every fucking Pokemon or limited to 1-2 times per 'mon-- but holy shit it's obnoxious.
See, I don't get what's so obnoxious about it to people who think it's bad. Just get a Pokemon with a status move, any status move, and they can't call for help. There are so many great status moves and they are even useful for the story. (If you don't over level your Pokemon you kinda need status moves to survive things.) on top of that, sos chains can get you hidden abilities, Pokemon you couldn't otherwise catch, better chance of shinies, easier level grinding if you are someone who likes to over level your Pokemon, the only easy way to get a female salandit without mad luck. Easier EV training, easier to get better IV's, and so so so so so much more. The cool parts of it (like added challenge) far outweigh, "OMG, I have to actually use a non damaging move on a Pokemon (or get nuzzle on anything and use a damaging move WITH 100% chance to paralyze)" it's so easy to stop the chain, and if you are trying to capture a Pokemon you should be using status moves anyways to get the vastly better catch rate.

I legit fought Zubats for 15-20 mins because of this bs. The first few I was like "aha, just my luck." after that it was just 100% "fuck whoever made this a thing."

Follow your dreams, unless they end at a wall or mass murder scene.
