That's quite impressive. I've farted from my armpits before, but I guess if there's enough cleavage with similar execution, it does seem possible <.<
Save, my humor is odd.
Mmm...I like when people use save. I use it all the time and people seem to be confused as to what I mean. For example: "Sure, it was a bird, save for the lack of a beak." Old school.
TBH, I wouldn't mind seeing this thread get locked.
I'm not a psychiatrist or psychologist, but I've read enough about negativity to know that "venting" is only a temporary release of anxiety, but ultimately it tends to proliferate the negativity.
Yes: I am venting about people venting in the vent thread.

Well a lot of what the people vent about isn't exactly things they can change. it's just....what sucks and they cannot stop it. (death, sickness) It's just a way to vent their feelings. At least stop them from feeling so helpless. Another thing is that a lot of what people write is just angry frustration. I've vented on this forum about my boss.
It's nothing i can change, but just venting about it makes me feel a little better. So the next time i see her and have to take more of her crap, i can be a bit more at ease knowing my past frustration are off my chest. At least i was able to tell someone.
It may not be totally healthy, but it sure makes life seem a bit easier.

Good Lord, please smite me to pieces for procrastinating and recently getting addicted to Starbucks coffee, which is really putting a hole through my mom's credit card. I'm sorry for being the worst daughter out there when I keep promising to do my best, but don't live up to them.
>_<
P.S - I've never known about racism till I moved to the huge ass city. @_@

I'm pretty sure a normal psychiatrist or psychologist would at least be aware of the various studies that have been conducted around this subject.
These studies generally show that it's better to not vent your anger, and instead focus on the nice sides of life, as anger works very much like a drug; the more you let it loose, the more you'll want to let it loose. Dispelling anger will help you in the short run, but fuck you up in the long run.
But meh, I'm sure other studies show otherwise, I am generally against this topic, cuz it's basically just a compilation of first world problems, the ones you can get out of by standing up for yourself. I just think you could make much better use of your time and linguistic abilities.

The studies exist, yes, but they're contradictory as often as not. The only thing we know for sure is that expelling anger- or other emotions- this way is better than not doing anything.
Psychology lesson! There are 5 different ways to deal with emotion (starting with the least effective):
[*:9irhkwn0]Ignore [*:9irhkwn0]Distract [*:9irhkwn0]Act out [*:9irhkwn0]Meditation [*:9irhkwn0]Fix it with outward or inward action
That's why I rated this a 3/5 for effectiveness. It's not the best thing we could be doing, but at least we're not bottling it up this way.
And yes, I'm a Humanistic psychologist. However did you know?
I hate feeling replaced, it really sucks, and scares me I guess. It just shows how easy people can be moved without thought. What hurts more is the fact that it never gets dropped and if I ask for it to stop because it bothers me I get told that I'm just being whiny and have deeper issues I need to get over.I can honestly say this upsets me.

*Watches herself be replaced.* o-o
D: You can never be replaced! *panics*
I hate it when friends are under stress. Triple so if I accidently caused it by writing something stupid.

I told you that you can not be replaced. Anyone who tries to say that they are your friend while actively trying to replace you is lying. Friends help friends, they do not cause problems for each other or prey on their flaws in order to benefit themselves. You are a wonderful person and fun to RP with and talk to. I know me and you butted heads in the past but that is water under the bridge and I told you that I intend to support you however I can. If you feel like you are being replaced then stomp your foot down and tell it how it is. I'll support you because in the end I want to see you happy and I want to see you succeed. No one knows what is best for you other than yourself, remember that. If someone tries telling you to give up something innocent that makes you happy and claims it is for your best interest then they are not true friends. People should support your choice and work to make what you decide all well and good. Remember that if the people who call themselves your friends can not do that then you should perhaps give your friendship with them a look over. You are a good person and while me and you do sometimes rub each other raw I still think you can be a good leader when the situation calls for it.
