Somewhere in the far outreaches of western Rukongai, Tony sat besides a roaring fire. The splendid flames danced madly as they raced into the skies above. The sun had just set, taking with it the last orange swaths in the sky. Tony sat cross legged warming his body by way of the blaze. His strong features casting deep shadows about his face, illuminating him in a deep orange light. His hair sat neatly combed atop his clean shaven face. His blade sat sheathed across his legs, resting comfortably. Tony stared deeply into the fire, the heat smarted his eyes and yet he sat in a trance. The tracings of an idea danced around his mind, he sat upon what seemed the precipice of a great idea. Yet like the wind it blew constantly outside of his reach. Unconsciously his gaze fell upon his sack.
He reached over, slightly moving his sleeping mat, and grabbed his pack. From within he produced two plushies, a satin bag secured with leather, and his knitting utensils. He spread them out on the mat besides him. His hands lingered on the two plushies, their existence came about from the loneliness Tony had felt since his friends of Rukongai had died. They eased his pain and allowed a way for him to create with his hands rather than just to destroy. He based the first plushie he ever created on a story he'd been told by a Shinigami whom was infatuated in the world of the living's culture. It was apparently a cthulu, the small green body was soft, little tentacles protruded like a mustache from above it's mouth. His head was large and bulbous, resembling that of a squid. The rest of his body was like any normal teddy bear. Except that it was green and had tiny wings sewn into the back. This little guy Tony called Jerry, Tony isn't the best with names. The other plushie was also modeled from a story that the Shinigami had told Tony. An alien, sleek (as least as sleek as stuffed cloth can be) and ominously black stared at Tony without eyes. It's oblong head sat upon a thin neck, it's jointed spine elongated past it's body into it's long tail. The tail ended in a barb, which if real would be quite the sharp appendage. It's legs were long and resembled a kangaroo's legs, if of course a kangaroo could bend their knees like a person. His arms resembled that of a man's arms, long thin and with fingers. In fact this was Tony's only creation with fingers, he was still perplexed as to why he felt fingers were necessary. Tony felt that despite this the Alien was perfect. A perfect killing machine, which Tony named Allen; again not good with names. Tony thoroughly appreciated both of these plushies. Seeing them helped Tony to really start grasping at the idea he'd had. He glanced at the figure which shared this fire with him.
"Oi, Atra. do me a favor and bring out Olaf. I've had a thought."
