Boring. As much as being Queen was an exciting thing sitting around on the throne all day was not. The blonde Icelander peered about the deathly silence of the throne room and the stiff as board guards standing on each side of the red velvet carpet, even they didn't make a sound than the occasional shift of movement. Life sure was dull and no fun in being Queen of the Quincy once again; she only came back after the sudden invitation from Amelia and the word of Walter abandoning his post - so much for trusting her fellow kin. She gave out a frustrated sigh and idly rubbed her bulging stomach before standing up and stepped down the stairs to move to her room just across the left side of the throne room.
Stepping inside her room, Freyleif sat down at her desk rummaging about for a pen and envelopes for what she had planned: it was time for a formal party at the castle. It would take awhile, but hundreds and thousands of letters would reach out to many of the Quincy within the Order and those who were still allegiance with their family's or clans. Jaina Proudmoore helped with the intelligence gathering and helped the young Queen list the potential Clans even filling out the blonde's spelling mistakes here and there.
Sending out formal letters usually wasn't her kind of thing, but she had to reach out and be social for once and get to know more of her kinsmen. Handling all the papers became much too stressing after a few hours of writing the same thing over and over while making sure her chirography was at its top quality. She substituted a few of her Quincy to handle out the rest in forming the letters, stamping them with wax seals then handing it to the next person to send them.
Before everything finished, the sun started to go down and soon night time would shroud the castle. Now all the Queen could do was get some rest and wait and see if anyone took heed of the letters to come visit.
The next day the Queen would wake up and do her daily routine, making sure everything was set up - many tables out in the Great Hall, chefs hard at work in cooking up in the kitchens. The castle became alive with all the guards helping set up banners over the entrance and making sure security was top notch in taking station around the halls, the throne room, and other important areas of the castle. Even Wraith had shown up as quickly as possible but he mostly staying hidden and out of the way.
Freyleif donned on her most lavished dress; a blue and white Quincy uniform with elbow high white gloves, knee-high blue boots, a fur-mantle and her sparkling diamond tiara neatly on top of her mop of hair. She dreaded dressing up with too much flare- so she kept it as tomboyish as she could in choosing her militaristic top wear with all the fancy runes and rank badges donned on a shoulder strap looped around her left shoulder to her right hip.
It was now 5 PM and most of the long tables were filled with giant bowls of fruits and the various mixture of cultural Scandinavian and German foods set out across. Candelabras hung above giving off their sparkling light throughout the Great Hall, the fireplace lit to keep the place with its blazing warmth, and the curtains closed to block the giant windows for privacy.
Now all Freyleif had to do was wait; she grew increasingly excited to meet these people and made sure to place greeters outside the castle to welcome her kin or even Jian if he showed up upon getting the letter. Then again, she wondered if that Punchboy would show up since she was busy to even join his. She wondered how the Quicny would take of a spiritualist showing up that threaten them before on their stances of not killing souls on Karakura's turf.
