In all honesty, Hanako didn't know what it was about getting sent to Chichibu, but she always felt this strange mixture of both comfort and sadness. Maybe it had something to do with something when she was still alive. In all honesty, she wasn't quite sure. Maybe she had lived here as a human at some point, maybe not. Still, she was sent here to take care of a low level hollow, something that she was pretty sure she could handle. And of course, she had been correct in that assumption, as she had fairly quickly dealt with that particular hollow. She sighed as she sealed her Zanpakuto again before sheathing it, allowing it to hang at her side once more as she ran one of her gloved hands through her hair. She had a couple options. Head back to the Soul Society and call it a day, or wander around Chichibu for a bit, maybe find something extra to take care of before things got too out of hand with it. Honestly, she was leaning more towards the other. She didn't exactly have the patience to just wander around the Fifth Division until another job popped up, and patrol duty was pretty annoying. So she kind of used any chance she could get for a change of scenery. Admittedly, she shouldn't have been doing it. But it just got so annoying being in the same location all the time. Hell, she had been pretty close to moving to another district before her powers had been awakened.
Still, what she was doing was a bit wrong. And yet, she didn't mind being in the wrong this time. It wasn't like anyone except for spiritually aware people or hollows could see her anyway, and Chichibu was a good enough distance away from Karakura Town that she didn't think there would be too much of a problem here. With that in mind, she stretched her arms over her head, interlacing her fingers to attempt to pop her back via stretching. After a few moments, several pops were audible, and she let out a soft sigh. She tilted her head a bit after that. Where to go..there wasn't exactly too much to do here. Chichibu was no Karakura Town or Tokyo. Granted, she had an idea of one particular place to go to. From what she remembered from the last time she was here, there was some kind of shrine not too far away. So, with that much in mind, she channeled some of her reishi into her feet and kicked off, seemingly disappearing and reappearing on the top of one of the smaller buildings. After a good thirty minutes of jumping from rooftop to rooftop, she found a small grove of trees in the middle of the town.
That had to be it. Of course, of the many things that she was, she was not someone that disrespected a legitimate religion. Especially not the one she herself believed in. So, rather than using Shunpo to
travel through the shrine, she dropped down from the rooftop she was standing on, taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly as she walked through the gate that marked the entryway. She always found it refreshing to enter a place such as this one. It was something that had stood the test of time, and showed that not everyone acted in their own interests. Granted, the person who made this shrine likely was acting in their own interest..but that didn't matter. She made her way up to the shrine itself, looking around for a few moments. After a good while, she found a nice, empty spot to sit in and soak in the atmosphere of the area. Admittedly, she was also studying the people that walked through. Even with her own lack of patience, she knew that eventually you just had to sit and watch things.
Unfortunately for her, it didn't last too long. About twenty minutes into her people watching, the cell phone like device hidden within a pocket inside of her uniform vibrated. Dammit. That meant that another hollow had appeared. She let out a sigh and pulled out the phone, checking its screen to see where the creature was appearing. It wasn't too far away from here..and according to the device, it was close by. She let out a huff and rose to her feet, walking out of the shrine before using Shunpo once more to try and get to the area that was in danger more quickly.
