Admittedly, Hanako was rather relieved that Kasumi had decided to follow her. It would have been rather awkward if she had decided to just go to the first division and get back to her usual schedule rather than what she had asked of her. The trip to the Fifth Division took a good few minutes though, during which Hanako was muttering in an almost inaudible voice about various things, most of them having to do with how her Soul Stitches worked. It was admittedly nothing really groundbreaking, but if Kasumi picked up what she was saying, most of it was dealing with the interplay between two sources of Reiatsu,
and how it might interact. She seemed to at least know the basics of what she was talking about. However, when they finally arrived at the Fifth Division's little area of the Seireitei, Hanako actually stopped for a moment, patting herself to make sure everything was as it should be. Once that was done, she took a quick little stop by the barracks, dropping her supplies that she had purchased onto her little bed.
Once that was done, she popped out of the barracks and walked the somewhat familiar path down to the Kido Hall. What she saw when she got there actually surprised her a good bit. There were a few of her fellow unranked members of the Fifth walking out of the hall, one of which admittedly looked rather worse for wear. It seemed that they had been practicing on their kido..or maybe one of them was teaching the other. Still, when they slipped into the hall, nothing really looked out of place. Sure, the smell of singed hair was lingering still, but that would go away with time. It was when she was asked what the plan was that Hanako actually spoke up though. "Well, considering how much of a difference in ability there is between us, my plan is honestly to have you fire at some of these targets, one of which I will go and pick out now..." She said as she walked downrange, picking one of the targets that were lower to the ground before touching it, her Reiatsu flaring up around her hand before vanishing. She then cut the target once with her sword, making a shallow little marking on it that was unlike any of the marks left on the other targets.
"Normally, I'd want to try to stitch one spell to another..but that might be a little dangerous, given how much stronger than me you are. So, for safety's sake, I figure that just trying to redirect a weak Hado spell from you would be a good starting point. If it works, then we can move on to more complicated things." Admittedly, it wasn't anything impressive, nor was it really all that groundbreaking. But she needed to know what the limit was, if the energy from spells like Kido could be interacted with. If that were the case, then this might become a rather useful weapon for her, should she ever come up against a quincy. Hell, it could even be useful against Hollows, as she could redirect Bala or Cero, or maybe even pull apart their bodies given enough time. Admittedly, this power could be very useful, given the right circumstances and amount of reiatsu put into it.
Her curiosity was buzzing around her like this strange aura of excitement, and admittedly, it was kind of infectious, even if what they were going to do here wasn't all that impressive. Of course, Hado was only the first step. She needed something to touch to use this power, after all, and Hado tended to be the most 'solid' of Kido spells. Regardless of that though, she needed to try and learn more about her power, try and remove the limitation on touching things. Of course, for now she kept that little extra thought to herself. Her reason for it? She didn't really have one. She just wanted to try and push her own skills further than they were at currently, and voicing that interest wasn't really going to help or hinder anything, so she didn't really see a reason to bring it up.
