It was several days after he had left Alex's presence, they had spent their week looking into information that was public on both their clans, he had found nothing on his own-- and had some luck with hers. But he'd finally managed to get a bit more information on who he should go to in order to find out further information regarding his bloodline and heritage. Apparently, his best bet was to meet the young woman known as "Calendrea Huhges" that apparently was the High Librarian of the Quincy Order- if anyone could dig up information on ancient bloodlines and ties, it would be her. Moving forward, with the bit of information he had, Erek would step forward until he was at the threshold of a large building that was apparently acting as one of the Quincy's many base of operations here in Berlin- pushing the door open with a brush of his hand.
Entering, he got no second looks when he stepped inside- despite his dress, he supposed the fact he had no control of his spiritual energy yet made it clear he was a Quincy. He was sure if he wanted to actually ask for anything he'd have to show his authentication, however. Sure enough, as he stepped forward toward the main desk and leaned down, the man behind it arched a brow and looked up to him, speaking in fluent Russian, so quick he only caught a few of the words- but effectively he was asking for identification. Grunting, he pulled out his passport and offered it to the man who opened it, examining the stamps, and information as he pulled it up on the computer- offering it back to Erek with a slight nod.
This time he spoke in slower Russian, obviously having noticed the slight hesitation that Erek had, "Is there a language you're more comfortable with?" Erek would rub the back of his head a bit apologetically and nod, it took a few switches about before German became the language the two settled on, thankfully due to the interactions with Frey, and others in the castle over the last two months it had begun to improve substantially. The man's English was decent but the goal was to get a language they were both fluent with. Leaning against the desk now that they had a solid grasp on the dialogue, they would begin their talk in full.
"So, what can I do for you, mister Blackmore?"
Erek replied casually, glancing at the paper he'd written the information on as he did so, "I'm looking for Calendrea Hughes, the High Librarian. I was told that I'd likely find her here," this caused the man to blink a few times before he glanced over toward the computer once more. A few clicks and he would nod, "Yes she's on the third floor, just take that elevator up and go to your right, it's the second door on the left. It'll be labeled as the central library, pale blonde hair, brown eyes, and just over five feet tall," as he gave the brief description, Erek would nod slightly before straightening and looking toward the elevator in question.
With that, he would move forward and follow the directions easily enough- opening the door to what appeared to be an ample library, blinking a few times at the books that littered the shelves, he had to resist the urge to explore. Reading was one of the few pastimes he had ever been allowed. Stepping forward, he moved past the books and instead began to examine the library, dotted with the occasional head, in search for someone that matched the brief description that he had been given.
