Just sign up and please meet with Aodh O'Mongan and Amelia, they are the Sternritters - or captains who will take you under their wing and put you in a specific training area.
Frey had told him-- and it seemed simple enough, as chaotic as the Order seemed at times when it came to communication they at least appeared to make some sort of active effort. So-- he had done exactly that, after searching a bit on what each of the two Sternritters-- or Captains, as he was more content calling them, specialized in he was naturally more drawn to Amelia's section of responsibilities. Due a mixture of his background, and what his goals were when it came to being a member of the Order. There was little other choice-- if he wished to become a wall for the Quincy to lean on, then he needed to serve as the Military faction.
It was for this reason that Amelia would have received a neatly handwritten letter, of all things during this day and age, in polite German-- with it translated in English on another page just in case it was required. Frey had told him German was basically a universal language in the Order, but it never hurt to be certain of these things. The letter had been simple, informing the Sternritter that he was a newly awakened Quincy and a Knight of the Order-- and that after having studied the basics with Freyleif and a few others he wanted to approach her in order to join her sphere, and would like to talk to her in person in order to do so.
He figured any further detail could be hashed out when he arrived, and so he had waited patiently until he had received word that it was accepted-- given a meeting place, and a time. Now, the man was calmly walking through the white walls, his hands clasped behind his back, posture straight-- the sound of his combat boots cracking lightly against the stone with each step echoing through the hallway as he made his way toward the woman's office. A hand lifting and pressing against the door, before cracking against it in three distinct sounds that would be heard without issue.
Afterward, he would calmly slip his hands behind his back once more, awaiting approval for his own entry-- there was no nervous air about him, only a calm expression that settled well enough on his sharp features. It wasn't as if he was here seeking a position or promotion after all. He still had a bit before he would try for such things, for now, he simply wished to introduce himself to his new Commanding Officer, set them on the right foot, and get a general understanding of her personality. Perhaps request her advice in training, since she was the combat specialist here-- it made sense she may have more ways to help him despite his "unusual" combat style.
Even if she herself didn't fight as he did-- if she had battled with others that had, or simply had enough spiritual combat experience to know some tricks, any would be a welcome addition to his knowledge. Self-teaching was all well and good, but it could become frustratingly difficult as time passed, unfortunately.
