It would appear that whatever had been decided, had been settled-- because Yuuta appeared beside him in a shunpou, with Sora's laughter echoing out behind them. A single sigh left Mako's lips, how could he get fired up over things so easily? He'd never understand that ability of his. Stepping forward, his eyes trailed along the air, answering him with a bored tone.
"Becuase you're short. Don't ask obvious questions." He stated simply before his footing carried him forward slowly through the streets-- this was the first time he'd been directly in the Seireitei-- but he could feel the varying pressures around them as they shifted and moved. It was simple enough to locate the Academy based on the level of power, he assumed the largest cluster of weak signatures would be the giveaway. Sure enough, his steps carried them both through the streets with ease as they approached the large building that had the sign marking it as the Academy.
Mako barely glanced at it, continuing to walk straight up to the door as he pushed it open-- Sora and the others eventually catching up, Sora grinning all the way while the door was pushed open-- taking the lead, likely for appearances as the two boys followed in after him. Mako's gaze slid along the walls, bland, but well maintained-- the sound of bokken clashing, and distant sounds of Kidou filled the air. He felt it all, each individual-- most of them were comparable to how Yuuta and he supposed-- he, had felt when they were children.
It seemed Sora hadn't been lying-- they were more than qualified to be students, but Mako was in no rush by any means. He still needed power, a tremendous amount of it if he wanted to truly develop himself. He was quite content to remain tucked away practicing on his own, there was plenty for him to continue growing in strength from. Glancing at Yuuta, he had the sudden realization that likely, the redhead would steal the spotlight-- a perfect way for Mako himself to drift into the darkness and remain unknown actually. A brief smirk formed on Mako's lips, but it quickly melted away.
"You should perform the test in front of the Academy training grounds, Yuuta. I'm sure it'll give you a strong first impression on our classmates." He stated this simply, his gaze remaining forward, a passing recommendation and nothing more as Sora glanced back, and shrugged, showing he didn't have a problem with that-- before halting as they reached the door to the Academy's head. He grinned, glancing back at the redhead and Mako both-- and Mako wouldn't even blink, not a shred of anxiety visible on his face, as if it ever showed emotion, to begin with.
"Alright-- I'm here just for appearances, once you hand 'em the papers, you'll officially be members of the Academy-- I'll meet you outside once you change into the uniform, kid," he commented with a grin as he glanced down at Yuuta, before the door was pushed open-- the next chapter of their lives entering. Mako had no intention to ever look back.
--
After a short discussion, papers handed over, and introductions-- both of them were given their uniforms, as well as two spare, Yuuta was given an Asauchi as per usual. Of course, Mako also fully expected the idiot redhead to go charging into the training area's so that he could fight Sora-- the man was happy to fight, waiting by the door for the decision. Mako, briefly, allowing his hands to tuck behind his back as he watched the redhead-- he wouldn't watch, no need to draw further attention to himself. He'd go set up his room instead, but he could at least wish the idiot luck.
