Usually one would expect to not approach anywhere near their limit after a single night of drinking with a friend. Unfortunately for Chieko,
she had taken a bit more than her body could handle without repercussions in the morning. Thankfully, today was the beginning of the weekend, so she didn't have to go into work. Last night, she had learned of The Order, and supposedly, the one who had told her about it would be putting in a good word for her. Her memory hadn't really been affected by her drinking. Nor had her body itself.
No, what was wrong with her this morning was a couple of minor things. The light actually hurt her eyes, and she had a fairly large headache. Thus, she was now walking through her house in the overly large T-Shirt that served as her pajamas, along with sunglasses on until the headache medicine that she had taken kicked in. "Ugh..note to self..don't get a glass of Vodka and Peppermint Khalua that large ever again.." She muttered as she walked into the bathroom, going at her tangled hair with a brush now. By the time she was done with it, her headache was gone, sure. But now her scalp was a bit sore from all the knots she'd had to work to get rid of.
She was admittedly pretty hungry, but..well. To say she had a lack of food in her apartment would be grossly understating it. She hadn't gotten her paycheck wired to her account yet, so she wouldn't be able to go get groceries until the next morning. That meant one thing. She was going to go out for breakfast. Thankfully, most places around had extended the times that they were serving breakfast. She sighed as she rubbed her chin. About twenty minutes later, she was out of the house, ready for the day. The sunglasses remained on her face because she was still a bit sensitive to the light.
That'd go away after she got some food. She hadn't really put much thought into what she would be wearing today. As such, she ended up with one of her many low cut tops--something she was unfortunately forced to wear due to her own bust--a pair of shorts that clung to her body, ending just after the knee, and a pair of sneakers. Just a normal outfit. Of course, her cross was on her left arm.
There was no real reason behind the switch. She just felt more confident having it on her left arm today.
Though, now that she was out of the house, the main question was where to go to eat. There was a fast food joint nearby that made fairly healthy breakfast. But..it was a bit on the high end. Admittedly, that was the only place she could think of at the moment. As such, she started walking down the hallway, keeping a close eye out for anyone that would be walking down before glancing at the nearby open window. She stuck her head out of it for a moment. Nobody was around.
Granted, the sky was a bit of a dull grey at the moment, so it was probably fairly early still. That just meant that she'd woken up earlier than she thought she had. Still, it wasn't that far of a fall. She only lived on the second floor, and the walk down would only take more time.
Fuck it. With a bit of a sigh, she slipped out of the window, disappearing from view momentarily before reappearing on the ground, dusting herself off like it was nothing. Luckily, nobody had been around to see that. But if anyone with a decent level of spiritual awareness was around, they definitely would have sensed a spike in reiatsu around the area as she used her Hirenkyaku to get from the second floor to the ground floor without much issue. Still, that wasn't on her mind at the moment. She walked down the block. The place wasn't too far away, thankfully. Her grumbling stomach would have argued with her if she had to walk really far.
It took about ten minutes to get there and get her usual order. She sighed as she exited the fast food place, slipping her sunglasses off with a content sigh.
"Ah, much better. Now what to do while I wait for Erek to pass on more info.." She muttered to herself as she walked further into town.
