Erek had been training with Mei fairly consistently now-- and was intending to come by and ask if she was willing to perform a bit of training with her now that his skills had managed to actually increase to a more noteworthy level. She'd given him the address to her Apartment, but he'd never been in it-- nor asked to enter his friends home. It was her own business, and unless she invited him in he had no reason to pry. He'd been a Quincy a grand total of two months-- he realized-- too late, that he was walking with normal speed.
Mei had taught him Hirenkyaku-- but he was still so unused to it that he never thought to use it casually. It was an emergency movement at best-- he was already almost there, using it now seemed a bit pointless. Besides, it was still broad daylight, he doubted that people wouldn't notice him flashing through the sky-- granted it was probably far too fast for human eyes to keep up with but--
His thoughts were interrupted when he came to a halt at the apartment complex. Ah. Too late now anyway.
Stepping forward he went through the stairway, rising to the level as he glanced down at the paper, making sure he was remembering the floor and room correctly as he moved toward the door. He wasn't entirely sure if she was home, or busy, but at the worst, he could always just wait a bit and leave if there was no response. Then maybe use that damn technique on the way back-- he'd dedicated quite a bit of time to it, but any skill he may have gained from its usage was going to disappear if he wasn't careful. It was like studying any other skill-- the more you used it, the sharper it became.
Sighing, he lifted his hand as he faced the door and wrapped his knuckles three times neatly against the door-- hearing the sound echo out through the hall behind it before he returned his hands behind his back. His usual outfit of cargo pants, shining combat boots, a t-shirt and leather jacket being the only oddity. He supposed he should start dressing more like a civilian now-- or wear the flashy colors of the Order, but honestly, neither idea appealed to him in the slightest. Until he was told otherwise, he was going to continue wearing his usual clothing-- odd looks he may get or not.
Cool blue eyes lifted, waiting patiently at the door for Mei-- silently chiding himself for forgetting something key-- reaching out with his reiatsu sensory that he had learned well-- but like all else, he still hadn't quite gotten it down to a direct second-nature just yet. He felt the stirrings of energy within the room, but it was suppressed, and too difficult for him to read properly-- was Mei that good at reiatsu suppression? He wasn't certain to be entirely honest. He supposed he would find out.
