Mako was training, as always-- the few point in time he wasn't being hounded by Yui or Yuuta, it was how he spent his time-- meditation and training. In this instance, it was for exactly this reason that he was currently resting in the center of the training grounds, legs crossed underneath him as he meditated. A ghost, his reiatsu signature completely nullified, as if he didn't even exist in the first place as several stones slowly floated around him-- his focus being on the total control of his reiryoku that was being used to control the stones. Rotating them slowly around him like a ring of a planet, eyes closed as he kept his senses piqued to detect anyone that may be approaching.
He felt the ripples of life around him-- the smallest insects, the birds in the tree's, every shift in the grass-- honing the creation of his observational techniques that he was slowly developing. The shifting of the stones continued, slowly rotating around him until he felt the slight shift of energy slowly approaching, another shinigami. His eyes remained shut, feeling her approach-- feeling the surface emotions, there was no hostile intent, she couldn't detect him-- that was fine then. He continued in his practice quietly-- of course, the words of Yui echoed within his mind.
Take more students, train with more people-- the usual bullshit. But, he had promised the woman he would try-- and now that she was living with him, he doubted that he'd get much silence and peace if he didn't at least give her a detailed explanation on what he'd done. Perhaps she would stop annoying him with questions if he told her he'd trained with someone besides Yuuta and her? A slight sigh left his lips, continuing his meditation-- he made a decision, if the woman approached him, then he would respond and possibly move forward. If she didn't approach him, then he was safe to remain quietly training.
Sadly, he knew that his lack of a reiatsu signature tended to attract attention when he was in the limelight-- but he knew retreating meant that he would, effectively, be breaking his promise to Yui to at least try and make contact with other people. How damn troublesome this all was-- he didn't quite understand why it mattered, but he supposed if she wanted him to try that badly he didn't really have much choice. He was quickly coming to realize that he struggled with telling the woman "no" quite heavily when it came to things like this.
